Nice hotel, close to shoppingPosted Nov 18, 2014
Pros: Close to shopping, liked the mini suite, very nice place overall.
Cons: Elevators were a little slow.
Location: Very convenient to shopping. Meet my daughter every year for Christmas Shopping, this was a perfect location.
Staff was very friendly. Enjoyed our stay. Our bathroom sink was a little stopped up the first morning, we reported it to front desk and was taken care of very promptly. Complimentary breakfast was good.

Cold Day for the IOWA/ILLINOIS Football GamePosted Nov 17, 2014
Pros: Several resterants within 1/2 block including Hooter's.
Cons: I had my final expedia flight in the morning at 0600 so I missed the Breakfast (free)
Location: I onkly went ther for the Illinois-Iowa Football game.
It had a fireplace in the room for the snow and 17 degree temoperature. The Breakfast Bar was better than most resterants. There was a fireplace in the Lobby & the pool water was hot. Just wonderfull.

Very Nice.Posted Sep 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
The suite was nice and spacious. The room was clean. The bed was great. Free breakfast was in too small an area and overcrowded, went elsewhere to eat. I'd stay here again.

Great for Groups or Long StaysPosted Sep 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
We were very impressed with Eastland Suites. We had a bunch of family stay here for a wedding. There were a lot of common areas to gather outdoors. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Would be a great place for large gatherings or extended stays. Our room was similar to a 1 bedroom apartments. I can only speak to their Sunday breakfast but it was better than any free hotel breakfast I have had!

Great hotel, marginal breakfast.Posted Sep 21, 2014
Loved our room, booked a suite that had a fireplace, room was great.the breakfast didn't start til 7 , I had to leave at 6:45 my wife was able to stay for their free breakfast and was not impressed, no sausage, bacon, or bisquits&gravy that other hotel breakfast have. Still wouldn't deter me from staying again though.

Ptasnik Parents Weekend @ ISUPosted Sep 16, 2014 on Hotels.com
I typically stay at the Marriott as it is closer to the ISU campus, however after my stay here, I have decided to stay at Eastland Suites from now on. The room was spotless and nicely decorated with various amenities and the staff was extremely pleasant and responsive.

Great place to stay. 100% recommend staying in the "villa" type rooms. Worth every penny.

Wonderful room and great location. My husband loved the free "continental breakfast", actually it was more like a breakfast buffet. Awesome!

Excellent room for a sleep-overPosted Aug 4, 2014 on Hotels.com
We stayed in the room for a sleep-over party. Perfect size room for all to sleep comfortably. Pool was very nice. Complimentary limo ride for the girls was a perfect added extra that just made the party wonderful.
