“Great hotel, great price”

The hotel was great and so was the price for a weekend night stay. We will return. Breakfast was great for being included in the stay.

“Great Stay”

Absolutely the nicest Hotel I've ever stayed at. Nice rooms. I loved having a separate area next to the bathroom. It would be great when traveling with others. Actual cuboards and built in Frig, sink was really nice. Good Breakfast. I would definately stay here again.

“Clean, Quiet and Near University”

This hotel was quiet and clean even though it is right off the interstate. The large room was more than adequate. When I stay there in the future I will bring my own beverages as there were no bars in the area. It was easy to get to Veteran's Parkway to find sit down restaurants. It was also easy to get to ISU from this property.

Most everything was good with the hotel. My main objection was the breakfast, that seems to be a commonality among many hotels in the US.

My son and I stayed at this hotel. It was really great. The room was really nice, the pool was great, and the breakfast was really good. Nice place to stay.

“Worth the stay...”

The entrance was clean and beautifully decorated. The room was clean, smelled clean, and was stocked properly. The room was very spacious and well priced.

“Wonderful surprise”

For an average-star hotel I was very pleasantly surprised by the opulence and amenities offered by this Hawthorn Suites in Bloomington, IL. I blew into town for a job interview and was actually sad to leave my room. It was very clean, richly appointed with a mini fridge, microwave, and cabinet space (if I'd wanted to grocery shop and hang out for a few days). I had tons of space to spread out in and it really was like having very nicely furnished studio apartment, sans the kitchen. The bathroom was pristine and spacious with plenty of towels and toiletries. My only (and very minor) hangup was that the TV didn't want to corporate with me and I only got one channel. Luckily I have iTunes. There is a pool that I did not check out.

“Very Clean!”

The hotel was very clean. The staff was nice enough. The only thing that was wrong is I would have changed was the fabric for the sheets on the bed. The fabric was pilled so it felt a little uncomfortable against the skin. The fabric also felt like a blend of polyester/cotton not my favorite, but if you have no problems with the thread count weave in fabric and the quality then you will have no problems. We did enjoy our stay all in all.

Wonderful hotel. Guest services was excellent got us checked in immediately. Rooms were very clean and confortable. Lobby nicely decorated and the staff was excellent. We would stay there again for certain.
