Pros: the staff was great!
the staff was wonderful. really appreciated the shuttle service. went to the bar at 10:30 and it was closed, a little disappointing.

The bar does stay open later if business warrants, I am not clear what day of the week you stayed either as typically the bar is open till midnight most week nights and generally Sundays is the only night it closes pretty early. Modern and Comfortable

Pros: Comfort, convenience
Cons: Earlier hours for the buffet breakfast.
Location: Immediately adjacent to the airport, and convenient to State Farm
This structure is in "new" shape. Modern, convenient, attractive, comfortable. Nothing especially fancy, but it meets a business traveler's needs with the ameneties you'd expect. Be aware -- your GPS might think it is a half-mile down the road from the actual location out on Highway 9.

A decent and convient hotel.

Pros: It's cleanliness & friendly staff.
Cons: Bedding and the walls.
Location: It's right across the street from the airport. So convenient and nice restaurants in the area.
The hotel is lovely. Though the walls seemed paper thin. I was distracted by noise while trying to sleep. I wished the beds had comforters. And the the pillows labeled soft and firm would actually be soft or firm in their pillow cases. It seemed I had all soft fluffy pillows which sound great but doesn't help me to feel comfortable.

Thank you for your review. We apologize that you were distracted by noise and hope that you contacted our front desk to investigate as typically the hotel is noted to be very quiet. Our staff and security are always happy to address any concerns that affect our guests satisfaction upon notification. Our beds have the Holiday Inn bedding package of which is replaced with fresh linens with each guest. Our extra blankets and pillows in the guest closet are also replaced with each new arrival as well. Ensuring our guests are confident the room is 100% clean is our priority. The bedding package also includes 2 firm and 2 soft pillows on each bed. The closet are also offers an additional pillow while the guest directory notates 5 other alternative pillows available (simply by request through our front desk). It is our utmost goal to provide each guest the best stay possible. We do hope we can count on your future business. Thank you, Michelle Irvin, GM

Wonderful stay

The Front Desk Staff were so helpful. The beds were great, and furniture was well arranged, to be well-served by the air conditioning, as it was a warm August night. My husband was ill when we arrived, and Jamie, from the Front Desk, did everything she could to help me find and get to a local pharmacy and made sure we were comfortable before our shift was over. I can't say enough thanks for her caring for us.

Took a 10 day road trip with my wife and this hotel was by far the best stay we had! A+ hotel! Very highly recommend!

Nice place to stay

The kids loved the pool and we liked having 2 rooms in the room so the kids could go to sleep while we stayed up to talk and make plans for the trip. The hotel staff was friendly and nice. The breakfast I thought was a little high for the area. We thought we had pre-paid though the hotels.com offer, but it got mixed up then they tried to charge us a higher rate than was even advertised on the signs in the hotel and the wait staff was far from friendly. They did not offer us drinks, we had to ask for them and then they rolled their eyes at us when the kids wanted different juices from us. The food was good though.

Clean and comfortable

Hotel was clean and well kept. Were there on Memorial Day and the hotel let all the staff have the day off, so no housekeeping or breakfast was available. Staff at the front desk were friendly.

Nice hotel!

Pros: Modern, clean, comfortable rooms
We stayed here after hearing how nice it was. The hotel was great, and the room was comfortable and clean. Bloomington has a lot of hotel choices but this has been one of our favorites so far.
