All hallways permeated with cigarette smoke. I need a smoke free room, I didn’t get it, but the smoke was not bad enough to cause asthma, only had a sore dry throat coz of the smoke.

Too much noise, chatter and clatter from housekeeping and hotel guests on the corridor at any time of the day and night. In my room, the toilet overflowed terribly on my last day. When I say "overflow", I mean there was 2-3 inches of stinky water in the bathroom that flowed into the main room and made a big glaring puddle in the carpeted corridor. Since I was on my way out, I did not complain but housekeeping did, and someone from the front desk requested to know what was happening? After my explanation, the personnel brought a plunger and fixed the problem. For the whole three nights of my stay, the sink in the bathroom was dirty (upon my arrival) and blocked. It could overflow too. I left it better than I encountered it because I used the sanitizing liquid with me. I did not complain to management because I am tired of making complaints. Since I am a frequent guest and stay longer most times, I should get the better rooms. The TV also had problems, most of the channels had technical difficulties and were blurred. The only good thing about my room, which I appreciate were the tidy bedsheets and the fine coverlets. They were the best I have seen in any room of my stay.

Welcom to hell,
Holes in walls. Cracked air conditioner…soiled sheets,.! Large unreal roaches. Half the rooms had no working phones, no workin remotes to tv. Large crackers in ceiling,,,one flus toilet before it flooded. Carpets were stained beyond reason. Discovered a hidden camera in bedroom and shower!!! Shadowy figures shooting across ceiling.

Worst hotel ive ever seen
This is the worst hotel ive ever seen. Horrible conditions. Extremely dirty and unkempt. Full bags of trash in hallways filthy bedding. I am going to contact the city of bloomington immediately to address the concerns of this unhabitable hotel.

Don’t go
No refrigerator. No microwave, wholes in floorboards. Water around air conditioning which didn’t fit in wall.Room smelled as animals. Phone didn’t work. No remote for tv that dint work! Hotel don Hell!!!

The service was ok, but motel overall was very dirty. Got in my room and it was very dirty. Hair in bed, pillowcases dirty, didn't look like anyone cleaned, bathroom sink leaked. Would not recommend this motel to anyone if you driving through.

Worse property I have ever stayed at. Burnt bedsheets with all kind of stains, holes in pillow, stained toilet, smelly and obsolent towels. I would definitely spend $20 more a night to get a better place to stay

I had to have my key card reactivated everyday. The large gap under door allowed all the noise from occupants and their pets to intrude, the air/heat unit was noisy, the tv kept loosing its signal. The base of the toilet was dirty and hairy. The waste basket had dried excrement on it. My room was cleaned only on the 1st of three days. There was no do not disturb card. The hotel office had the same trash on the floor from the first day to the last. Fire doors were propped open. Their was no “snack bar” available. The staff do not appear to know how to greet or wish someone a good stay. Or even to ask if they may be of any assistance in any other way. Training is definitely needed at this facility.

Mold in corners of shower. Stairs and hallways dirty and worn out. Wood floor in room dusty and small pieces of dirt. Bathroom sink faucet very hard to turn on and water leaked out of knob. Molding/trim around bathroom mirror broken off in several places. Some stains on bedspread and pillowcase.

The room was clean but the hallways were dirty, hot, and smelled. The air was not on so our room was unbearable when we arrived but we eventually got It cooled down but the unit was leaking water on the floor. There were issues with the bathroom and no one offered to help resolve them.

Ok for the price but if you want something clean clean this is not for you. Manager was great. Got me extra pillows. No one was in office when i tried to check out. No breakfast no coffee or microwave in room. Good location. Its a roof and bed kinda place

ry wall hAd brown drips down them. Shower door was falling apart. Shower had black mold in and around couldn't even take a shower. The smell was putrid and invading. Ac leaked all over the floor. Ceiling had brown smears all over. Dirty linens and towels. Property was run down and falling apart. When asked to change rooms we were told to take it or leave it. Expedia should NOT represent this motel!! My family felt very ill after we left the motel.

'Price was the only redeeming value. A "No Smoking" room in a facility where smoking is otherwise allowed on the premises, is the equivalent of having a "peeing section in a swimming pool"! The room was clean enough, but far from airtight. The result: cigarette/tobacco fumes were wafting into the room. When I left in the morning, 'had to hold my breath until I was outside of the building and kept my intended, clean shirt for the day in my bag, to change into at my car. This is how an allergy can affect someone! Also, upon my arrival, 'had two requests at the desk. First, 'wanted to confirm the location of the Holiday Inn, which was (as I had thought) immediately across the street and just up the block. The young man at the desk expressed an ignorance of such a location and sent me several miles to the northeast part of town - "near the Walmart"? As a result, I was more than twenty minutes late for the social function that I came to town for. Secondly, 'had asked for a wake-up call at 6:30AM and was given every assurance that it was not a problem. Yet, it never happened! (Fortunately, I am ordinarily an early riser and the 'alarm' wasn't needed.) J.C., Chicago

I liked that this property is surrounded by many restaurants in walking distance. Also, three different gas stations located right across the street and you can hop on I-55 right away. Illinois State University is 4 minutes away. This location is great, staff is friendly but the room itself could have been cleaner and more amenities needed.

Clean this place up!
The hotel was very dirty. The hallway carpet looked like it had not been vacuumed in months. The room was in poor shape (vinyl floor had rips in it and was heaving in areas, the shower was full of mold and was nasty). The floor was filthy. The pillows were stained and the pillow cases were filthy (asked for them to be replaced at front desk). The hallway reeked of curry. The place is just disgusting!

Horrible horrible horrible do not stay!!!
The stay was horrible, I never leave review but this place isn’t safe for anyone to stay at! Multiple people were complaining of bugs in their beds, all over the floors, the condition of their showers and mattresses, it’s was over all disgusting!! We had our Uber driver tell us they almost didn’t pick us up because it wasn’t safe, there was a murder there, cops were there all the time and the day we decided to leave early cops were there gloving up! It’s just horrible I do not recommend at all!!!!

All I will say is...this place is a dirty dump. Dirty room, torn bedding, dingy property, lousy HVAC, questionable guests partying in the parking lot and looking like trouble, messed up TV, torn fake wood floor to cut your foot on. Need I say more?

Literal drug deals going on in the parking lot. The place hasn't been cleaned in years and I was offered a smoking room. I am a smoker but my kids are not. Regardless you turn on the a/c and get blasted with stale cigarette smoke. No secure entry for the building and I literally got locked in my own room. Full of prostitutes and drug addicts. Not family friendly
