Motorcycle trip and this was our overnight stop[. Found it to be pleasant. Only issue we had was the outside light was too bright and shined inn thru the blinds. Like having a light on in the room. We had to cover the window with towels in order to sleep. Other than that it was super!

We loved our stay at Chetola. The setting is gorgeous. I didn't realize the property backs up to Moses Cone property. The rooms are very nice with microwave and small refrigerator. It had granite countertops in bathroom and under microwave. The bathroom also had pretty tile floors and shower with glass door and bowl type sink. Updated faucets. We got a cheaper room so it did not have a view but that was ok. We really enjoyed our dinner at breakfast at the Timberlake Restaurant. My only complaint would be that I wanted to go in the paddle boats the last morning and the person with the key wouldn't be there for several hours and we had to go home without doing that. I would have expected better planning on Memorial Day.

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay at the Green Park Inn. The young man,(Michael), who handled our check-in was very helpful in answering all of our questions about the Inn as well as what to do and where to go in Blowing Rock. Saturday night we listened to piano music in the lobby. On Sunday evening there was a band playing on the front porch. It was a great Memorial Day getaway for us!!

we got the two rooms in the main building. Really good setting for our family with kids. Very nicely furnished, walking to down for restaurant, easy drive to nearby sightseeing. Enjoyed our two nights stay very much.

A scenic repose on the Blue Ridge Parkway, Blowing Rock is named for town's iconic rock formation. Peruse the fine restaurants, galleries, and shops after hiking to the breathtaking lookout. Visitors can also ride a real steam engine on the Tweetsie Railroad or gallop the 25 miles of carriage trails at Denim King, Moses Cone's gilded age estate.
