Good budget hotel close to 3 SistersPosted Apr 9, 2014
Pros: clean and comfortable
Cons: information on restaurant being closed prior to arrival
Location: Three sisters
Good motel for the price which included breakfast. The motel was very clean and comfortable, in fact I slept very well until the cockatoo's woke us up.. The motel is located in walking distance to the 3 sisters which was great for us as we were doing some hiking. There is a visitor centre at the 3 sisters that will give you all the information. Only downside for us was we didnt have a car. We arrived by train but it was very easy to get a bus that stops right outside the motel which was very handy. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed which would have been good to know about before we booked. We had to walk into town which took about 20 - 30 mins and found a couple of places open. We were out of season so realise that why alot of places were closed. overall if you are looking just for a bed for the night, then definitely stay here if you are on a budget.

Great LocationPosted Jan 6, 2014 on Hotels.com
it is a very simple hotel but good enough for a night in Blue Mountain. It is very close to mountains so I could see the sunset and the raising another day. Very good price for a family room. No amenities but I can stay there again. If you have a Blue M Garden, why stay in the hotel?

Maintenance neededPosted Dec 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
Good location, being near shops, restaurants and even attraction spots - Echo Point and Scenic World. But it sorely needs renovation - my room door knob had "plaster" round it to secure it! Housekeeping was also lacking - although towels were changed and bed was made, the drinking cups were not washed, toiletries and milk in the fridge were not replenished.

Great budget accommodation near the 3 sistersPosted Nov 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed here before a climbing trip the following day. The location was great to be able to walk to the 3 sisters lookout, it was not too far from town and the train station if needed (we had a car, too far to walk with bags though). We got a free continental breakfast in the morning which was great. Definitely not 5 star accommodation, but we weren't expecting it to be. The rooms were clean, not super quiet we could hear the people in the adjoining rooms but fine for a short trip. Recommend for people looking for affordable and comfortable accomodation in the Katoomba area.

Nice place to stayPosted Aug 23, 2013
Pros: very close to all the local attractions
though motel is located a bit far from the station, it is very close to all important lookout locations i.e. 3 sisters point, echo point and scenic railway....rooms were nice and tidy...

Basic accomodationPosted Jul 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
Great location to the Three Sisters and Scenic World. Unfortunately the room service was not up to standard. There was not enough cutlery to cater for the number of guests. There were torn blankets; our cups were not cleaned; the water pressure was not up to 3.5 star standards; and there were no facial tissues. Despite the poor room service we all enjoyed our time in Katoomba.

All good till breakfestPosted Jul 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
Really happy with service, hotel and location, kinda fawlty towers which we like. That was until breakfest when we noticed that some guests were offered a hot breakfest and others, including us, not. We had already stuffed ourselves on toast and toast and more toast so didn't bother complaining. Seemed like the guy running the place just had too much to do, serving, checking in/out etc etc. Looks lke he needs some more staff.

Good location with fantastic Coffee for Breakfast!Posted Jun 30, 2013
The Motel is in a very good location. The outside of the Motel needs a bit of TLC and looks a bit old. The Family Room we stayed in was comfortable but not very spacious. The best thing was the delicious Coffee in the included continental breakfast. Our stay was ok, we had bad luck with the weather (rain and total cloud cover so we could't even see a glimpse of the Three sisters..). The Trip to the Jenolan Caves was well worth it!
