Weekend Getaway

Posted Mar 1, 2015
Rooms and hotel were nice! Kid zone was VERY NICE - especially during bad weather days. A bit hard to find as signs to the hotel are graffitti up, suggest they use some money to clean it up.

Cons: Foxtel reception was non-existent for my full stay and I could not watch sport. Pool spa was not working.
Location: Katoomba has good dining.
Stayed four nights whilst visiting Blue Mountains. Located in a spectacular location.

Great Family stay

Posted Feb 18, 2015
Pros: everything
Cons: maybe more kids friendly meals at the restaurants and maybe look into the prices
Location: we loved the location we were close to most tourist attractions and katoomba town was a lovely place
It was a lovely stay , we can't find anything bad to say about the place , Staff were very nice and everything was just perfect . Kids loved it every minute , the only downside was the cost of the meals at the restaurants it was very expensive but we were happy with what we ordered . Breakfast buffet was the highlight of the day.....everything fresh and a lot to choose from...views was stunning . I will definitely recommend to other families :D

Lovely hotel in the Blue Mountains

Posted Dec 30, 2014
Cons: Free Wi-fi would be nice -- it was $24.50 for 24 hours.
Location: Loved the town of Leura, very close by the hotel. The area is quite pretty.
We were only there for one night, and enjoyed it. The room was comfortable and had a great view over Jamison's Valley. There was no door man or attendant to help with the car or bags when we pulled up, although two offered to help once we started hauling the bags in by ourselves. The Eucalypt Restaurant was not as nice as we had expected. Decor was quite plain, understated. The food was good, not great. Service was good. We did get a very nice wine recommendation, and I think that was the highlight of the meal. No view from the restaurant. Overall, we were pleased but not overwhelmed. We liked it well enough to return someday, though.

Weekend away

Room was lovely. Tioletries in bathroom were just beautiful. Will be perfect once renovations are finished. A few more trees pruned could give better view of valley.
