Very relaxing and quietPosted Nov 27, 2013
The hotel is laid out nearly like a large house. Very relaxing and quiet, especially since there were few other guests. Overall I was pleased. The basic room was rather small, but cozy and comfortable. A bit weird how the shower nozzle is mid-chest-high. I would have liked a small desk or writing table, but the room may not accommodate more furniture. I was a bit disappointed in the breakfast. I'm not much of a breakfast person so the selection of fruit (canned), toast, coffee, etc. suited me just fine. I wish it were served earlier; 8 o'clock is a bit late for guests in town for business or wanting to hit the sights early. The staff was friendly and there were no complications with my stay, or with the Expedia reservations.

Pros: clean, near5 Echo Point, very helpful staff
Cons: Everything was good- but a second pillow would have been great for thosed who like hard places to rest the head
Location: Plenty and plenty of brochures there to help decide on tourist things in the area
Nice hotel- old style comfort. Staff pleasing and helpful. Going back there this week for another nights stay

Brakfast by the cosy firePosted Jul 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
It was OK The bed linen was spotless but the bedding and the carpet were "grubby" making me wonder if the bathroom had been cleaned or "wiped over" The hotel amenities were very pleasant and had old worlde character. The breakfast was basic and the room very cosy to walk into and see the fire roaring. The staff very helpful and pleasant.

Excellent location, wonderful service!!Posted Apr 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
Highly recommending this hotel. We needed somewhere to stay overnight while on our trip to the Blue Mountains and this hotel had a fabulous location (walking distance to the three sisters and a little bit of a walk to nice restaurants.).The manager was wonderful and gave us helpful tips and recommended places to eat. Only downside is that complementary breakfast is only light (mostly cereals).
