One of the beds had a huge dip in the mattress. My grandson woke up with a backache. Bathroom was clean. Beds were clean. No other complaints except the mattress. However, that is a pretty big deal.

2 of our 3 rooms were fine. Although it was very noisy and the hallways were cluttered with pizza boxes and other garbage. But the hotel manager was helpful in trying to make things right.

Very dirty and needs a makeover/upgrade room looked like a cheap motel room, hallways were full of garbage bags in front of rooms from the guest putting them their n maintenance not picking them up in a timely fashion after the maids leave for the day. Hallways smelled like a combination of different restaurants all at once, the place looks like is following apart except for the dining area it was ok.

Stayed only 1 night out of 3. Place was Very dirty and unsafe. The door jam was broke so we could not use our key to get back in. DO NOT recommend to anyone.

Hotel is short staffed and actually had a sign in the hallway indicating that there would be minimal or no housekeeping because of this. Additionally, the hotel is being used as a permanent residence for foreign staff for other hotels on Hilton Head Island. Expedia should not be accepting bookings for this hotel. We only used it for it's proximity to Sun City and were unaware of the conditions here. There are other hotels nearby. The permanent residents are cooking in their rooms and smoking pot on premises. The smells were horrible and the room was dirty. Enough said!

Spent the night for work. Safe and clean. Easy in and out. The room can use a lot of updating in my opinion. The mustard yellow walls need lighter brighter welcoming colors. The tile in the bathrooms needs to be changed out and they could use new TVs in the rooms. I recently stayed in the same area in a different hotel for work and for $15 more had all of the above.

Good people but not clean
Front desk was amazing, so was rest of staff. Great personalities and engaging. Room was different story. Counters and floors were sticky. Could see build up. Sink was backed up as well.

The room had a distinct urine odor from the moment we arrived till we left. My mistake was not asking to be moved. We were there for a few days and had booked our stay to say that, but they only had 1 set each of (very small) towels for the 2 of us. We had stayed there previously and were happy to see outdoor lighting had been installed, because the area had been very dark before. But the key entry exit door at the end by our room was not latching closed consistently, so I was not comfortable. The staff were very pleasant and the breakfast was great. But overall the facility looked runned down.

Had to wait extra time for cleaning to complete, just so we could get into the rooms to find the sheets stained, and many of the flat surfaces with a weird black spots on them. 30 min later we figured out why… roaches. So we took off. The refund was issued quickly at least, and there didn’t seem much surprise in the complaint. I would avoid at all cost.

They try with the place but dated and room was noisy and old. I think there was long term leases for rooms because there were people up all night long in and out Slamming doors and stomping around… no sleep here
