Disappointing facilityPosted Sep 4, 2013
Pros: Not much
Cons: New mattresses! Better breakfast with more healthy choices! Cleaner bathrooms and inspect tubs in need of refinishing/replacing.
Location: Did not visit the area. We just spent the night on our way to Indiana.
This hotel does not have interior doors to the hotel rooms. Rather, the doors open to the outside, i.e. parking lot., which decreases safety. The mattresses were terrible and we were poked by springs all night. The floor of the tub needed to be refinished and there was some mold present on the tiles in the bath area. The breakfast was less than satisfactory. Scrambled eggs were served in round patty form which was weird. Very limited healthy choices at breakfast. We won't be staying there again.

great for the pricePosted Jul 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel was much less expensive than the other "mid-priced" hotels in the area. It is an older place with outside entrances vs. the interior hallways of the others. But if that does not bother you, this is a great choice. Nicely refurbished with comfortable beds, nice bathroom area, and flat screen tv. The wireless was a bit slow, and the carpet could use cleaning, but overall it was very nice. Great variety of food at breakfast, even biscuits & gravy in addition to the usual waffles, etc. The pool was very nice, and the pool furniture appeared to be new.

Close to highway.Posted Jul 15, 2013
Pros: The staff and location.
Location: Close to highway and restruants.
Our room was in a high traffic area right by the stairs, ice and vending machines and the way to the pool. Very early in the morning, before sunrise, it sounded like an argument outside our door but those people settled down in a few minutes. The TV reception was awful, the guy who came to fix it explained a thunderstorm that messed up all the TV's in the hotels on that street. The staff were wonderful.

Nothing specialPosted Jul 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
This was sufficient for our overnight stay during a road trip. Nothing particularly good or bad to report otherwise.

Skip the Continental BreakfastPosted Jul 8, 2013
Pros: Good pool (outdoor)
Cons: Continental Breakfast was pretty lean.
This hotel had a real get-in-and-get-out feel. No bad if you are mostly interested in sleeping. We stayed here because the pool was outdoor, and in the summer that is usually better for the kids. The pool was good, thought you should not forget the possibility of rain in the midwest summer evenings. We almost got rained out this time. If you want clean and roomy and new, I would suggest one of the several surrounding hotels. This one was not bad, just not nice.

Nice little hotelPosted Jun 30, 2013
Clean and quiet hotel. In room coffee maker actually makes a drinkable cup one cup at a time. Shower head has different settings and good pressure. Waffle maker or cereal are the best bets in the morning. Pool looks nice but we arrived too late to try it. only 1 quibble with this place; they won't give you extra pillows since they already "put five on the bed". Only problem is they are small down filled pillows that collapse when you lay on them. If you need more support, bring your own with you!

Better than expected.Posted Jun 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
All the other hotels were booked solid. This one was not. I was skeptical, but we needed a hotel. The lobby was clean and represented well. The hotel rooms were exterior entry, so I was nervous. The room itself was clean and they really try to keep it smelling fresh. The sheets were clean as they should be, but no spots. (Always a good thing) The bathroom was also clean. I would recommend it for passing through and weekend visits.
