Rude!

Just needed an overnight stay. When I checked in, I was asked by the front desk clerk, Lisa, if I wanted a downstairs room... When I said yes... She tried to charge me an extra $10... Yes, for a downstairs room. She was extremely condescending. The room, on the 3rd floor, was very spacious, and appeared to be newly renovated. Microwave, but no fridge. It's just off the interstate, so some noise level. Bring your own pillow... and be prepared to climb stairs!

Stayed here for 1 short night on our way home from vacation. Convenient location, just off I-55. Room was clean but in need of repair/updating. Room very hot. Was 82 degrees on arrival, turned AC on, room never got below 78 degrees all night. Very difficult to sleep. Bed small and mattress hard. Carpet worn, stairways dirty. Man at front desk very friendly and helpful, trying to do his best, but he had to manage the breakfast as well as checking people in and out of the hotel.

Don't ask questions of the front desk night clerk

Night front desk clerk was rude, uncooperative, and plain nasty. Worst experience I've ever had during my 35 years of business travels. Asked a question, got nothing but ugly looks and sarcastic remarks. Requested room change because of arthritic knees and got a response that he had rooms but didn't feel like dealing with it. Told me to deal with it. Suggest customers find anywhere else to stay other than this place. I'll never stay here again.

Moldy coffee pot that did not get changed out when I requested a new one. Dirty Microwave and missing a plate in bottom....
