"Fabulous location"
After reading a few negative reviews, I was pleasantly surprised by the Inn at the Tides. Yes, the furniture is outdated and hasn't been updated with additional charging outlets, but the room was spotless, spacious and the beds very comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious with granite countertops. Best of all, the bay and ocean view was fabulous. The staff was warm, welcoming, helpful and responded quickly to all our requests. We ate in both restaurants and found the service and food surprisingly good. We will definitely return.

Bodega Bay, Sonoma Valley Hotel Guide

The backdrop to Hitchcock’s 1963 thriller The Birds, Bodega Bay contains an active commercial fishing port. Boats unload their catch at the popular Tides Wharf, which offers fish markets, shops, and eateries. Beach visitors enjoy beachcombing and whale watching, while hardy surfers ply the chilly waves. To the north is Fort Ross, a former Russian fur trading center established in 1812.
