Great location, Excellent value.Posted Oct 2, 2013
Pros: Great location for bars and shops, 5 mins from lovely beach, pool area was fantastic.
Cons: Nothing, I feel they done the best they could for us personally.
Location: Make sure you visit chicos bar and say hello to Ali pali. You will have a great night there.
We arrived at 11.30pm and were greeted by a friendly helpful team who took our bags to the room. Room was clean with no issues. We are on holiday to relax and enjoy our time,if you look for problems no doubt you will find them, but everything was fine for us.the manager made a point of saying if we had any issues just speak to him and he would sort them, we never needed to raise any issues.Breakfast was very good, bar prices cheaper than local bars, dinner was as we expected with Turkish offerings, fine for the 4 of us, but we also ate out locally which also was very good.if you want a central location that offers great value, look no further than the bodrum nova vela hotel.

We booked 1 apart & 2 hotel rooms from Nova Hotel. It was difficult to find the hotel as the more visible Vela Hotel adjacent to Nova Hotel also belonged to the same owner and housed 2 rooms we booked. Only the apart room was in Nova Hotel. The "free on-site parking" meant parking by a very steep road. During check-in the hotel owners had only 2 rooms for us instead of 3. We could get the 3rd room after some wait. Rooms were basic and run down. They faced very loud bars across the street so we could not sleep in the rooms btw 10 pm- 2 am. The room 116 of Vela had a WC with a leaking reservoir and a small shower cabinet with a broken shower head. The ventilation duct in the toilet pumped smoke which ruined the air. It was the same smell in the reception below where owners smoke heavily. The room 210 in Nova had a phone but it never worked. The bedding for the kids was not done for hours. We had to climb down and up tens of stairs to remind the staff. There was only a weak split A/C unit in the bedroom. So the living room was always sweaty. The room had cooking facilities but the pans provided was unusably worn out (metal surface of Teflon pans were completely exposed and another metal pan was bent badly). When complained, the hotel management only provided lame excuses. There were two pools but they terribly smelled household bleach (instead of the pool grade chlorine). Avoid this hotel as it is not professionally managed and not properly maintained.

Located in Central of GhumbetPosted Aug 15, 2013
Pros: Their staff are very nice and helpful, although some of them are new to their business and not well trained. However, Kareem & Hakan were both great.
Cons: Dinner menu & breakfast variety & english speaking recepionist.
Location: Central of Ghumbet (walking distance of ghumbet pubs/cubs street, beachside (2 blocks away) and plenty of shops/travel agencies.
The hotel is more of a furnished apartment style (provided they have a pool with an outdoor bar and daily room service). It's located in central ghumbet, which is a 10-15 mins ride by car to central of bodrum and a walking distance from ghumbet nightlife streets (I would recommend sapphire, pasha, or X-bar if you're looking for clubs) and beaches are quite near (5 minutes by walk). We were told that Alora beach club is the best and it was pretty good, running english/turkish music all the time and foam party by 5-6 pm.

Disappointed!Posted Aug 5, 2013
Cons: pool area, state of double room.
Location: In party district. Need a shuttle to get into Bodrum.
We recently stayed at Bodrum Nova Apart Hotel. I booked this hotel due to the positive reviews but we were very disappointed. We booked a non-smoking double room which was in a different building and did not look much like the photos on Expedia. The room was in need of renovation. We found two ash trays in our non-smoking room. Our room was not provided with a floor towel for the bathroom, neither did it have a hair dryer or hand soap (we did not even get soap after asking for it). Please be advised that this hotel is based in a very noisy party area of Bodrum. This hotel has only three working sun umbrellas for a lot of guests. There is no way you can relax on the pool at 39 degrees without a sun umbrella. Furthermore, the sun beds pillows are dark blue which makes them extremly hot and uncomfortable to lie on even with a towel. Me and my friend were ending up using the pool of the neighbour hotel (Paradise Apart Hotel) which I can highly recommend. Very clean, great service, friendly German and English speaking staff. The Spa area at Bodrum Nova Apart Hotel is not clean. There was a lot of dust in the Jazukki and the spa staff was smoking in the spa area. However, I enjoyed the turkish bath. Even though the young manager of the hotel was nice, unfortunately I cannot recommend it. I heard that the apartments have been renovated and are modern but DO NOT book a double room. Also keep in mind the noise and the distance from the centre before you book this hotel.

Convienient Holiday HotelPosted Aug 1, 2013
Cons: It was a good stay although it could be better if the guest services was a little more attentive & fast also it would help if they understood english.
Its a simple, not fancy holiday hotel. The pricing attracted us to book Nova Bodrum Apart above the rest of the hotels in Gumbet. But, the REASON we chose to stay here is because of this young happy to please and ready to help lad by the name Berk. It is he who convinced us to stay at his hotel. The hotel is close to the beach so a thumbs up to that. It has rooms and apartments so that is a good thing too. Two swimming pools - double thumbs up to that. It was a comfortable hotel.
