“Great experience”

Outstanding service from the front desk to the dining room. The facilities were very nice. Great views from the room, the lobby balcony and the outdoor dining area. April was a perfect month to go to bodrum. The water taxi to the town was wonderful.

“Nice Hotel”

This is really nice hotel. Between Bodrum and Gumbet. We had a big and clean sea view room. Breakfast is good but I did not like the dinner. This hotel for relaxing holiday hence no animation. Evening entertainment was pointless because nobody attended. Price of water is expensive. Overall stay in this otel and go to bodrum at night.

This was our fourth visit to Salmakis Resort and we enjoyed another eleven nights here. We will be back.

Nice place, nice beach (the eastern part), easy access with boats to the centre of Bodrum.

“Great for a weekend getaway”

I was nervous when I arrived at Salmakis, having read mixed reviews about the hotel (including cleanliness, comfort, and number of stairs). However, we had an excellent time. They gave us a room that was identical to the promo photos, the bed was comfortable, and there was a huge balcony with a beautiful view. The pool was beautiful, although the beach was not very nice. A very relaxing vacation. Only complaint is regarding the "attitude" of hotel management towards amenities - they charged extra for everything (people, the room safe, adaptors, etc.) Don't expect many extras for free!

“Great Hotel with wonderful views”

Booked last minute to join friends. Great hotel weather great despite one day & night of rain-Fantstic electrical storms out in Bay Food wasn't great at evenings but breakfast really set you up for the day!

“Average service, average hotel, average food”

The most exciting thing about this hotel is some of its gorgeous views of Salmakis Harbor. Other than that, it is just your basic sprawling hotel with lots of older guests daytripping around Turkey. The location was a pretty simple walk into town, but up a very steep hill. The food, although having abounding options, was rarely delicious. Overall, I have to hope that there are more exciting and better hotels in Bodrum.

“Not happy with the front desk people”

One of their staff in the front desk was not professional. He seemed arrogant and rude to me and other guests. Room was not clean and had several problems. Hotel was too slow to fix the problems and did not offer any appology or accomodation. They did not offer any formal statement to explain additional room charges, other than a verbal comment about additional charges at the check out time!

“Disappointed :(”

The hotel is in a great location, with easy access via water taxi to town. The beach and hotel pool are great. The disappointment comes from the lack of service and hotel maintenance - which led us to 3 days of no hot water! One day we didn't have shower or tap water at all! There were no options for us, not even an apology. If the hotel is full, the staff are not able to cope with the volume of people - we went in June and the hotel was not at full capacity. With better staff and maintenance this hotel has great potential.
