Nice place making improvements

Posted May 26, 2015
Food was great! Room was ok and housekeeping could have been better but pool and activities by the pool were perfect for kids and adults. Can't wait to go back when slide is working.

The hotell room was not what I remember

Posted May 18, 2015
Pros: The room was OK, could use a fridge
Cons: Bathroom door knob, I have arthuiritice on my hands so I had trouble opening the door
Location: Golf would have been nice, but was under construction and the weather did not cooperate, although I understand was not the fault of the resort.
The room appeared to be updated, however the bed was totally uncomfortable and the bathroom was in need of remodel. I would have loved a fridge. The kuric was nice. The resturant was very good with fantastic views. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will plan to stay n the future, maybe we'll get a better room. The resort has the potential of being a 5 star resort.

Thank you for your feedback, as your feedback is very important to us. I'm sorry the bed wasn't comfortable for you, but we are excited to hear you enjoyed our fantastic La Cascada Table & Bar restaurant! We look forward to having you and your family back at our resort. Be sure to request a room overlooking our beautiful 18-hole championship course, nothing like having a morning coffee on your private patio/balcony overlooking the course.

Nice quiet hotel in the hill country.

I really enjoyed the resort. I'm not a golfer, but found plenty of things in the area to do, including lounging at the pool. The room was a great price, but things like coffee and bar drinks were a bit high. I do plan to return!

Older hotel. Pictures were very deceiving.

Posted Apr 28, 2015
Not a great place to stay. Older hotel, felt more like a motEl. The pictures were very deceiving. I was thinking we were staying at a resort, but it felt like a golf course apartment complex. The spa looked great online, but had a very shabby curb appeal in comparison. The area seemed much smaller than I would have thought. Also, trying to get a hold of someone on the phone prior to arrival was horrible. They need a front office line. We cancelled our 2nd night. The cost did not compare with the room, ambience, or service.

If you like to spend money, stay here!

Posted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: Facilities looked very nice and complete, even though I only used the room.
Cons: The nightly rate is too high! After adding these greedy "resort fees", the rate was $165. Worth a maximum of $125 per night.
Location: Location-beautiful this time of year (mid-April). Boerne-a charming town of approx. 10,500 population with lots of neat looking shops & restaurants.
Arrived approximately 7:00 p.m. Saturday night and left 7:00 a.m. Sunday. Nice room, comfortable bed for the night. Would NOT stay here again at $165 per night!

A disappointing stay.

Posted Apr 19, 2015
Pros: We liked the scenery and the comfortable bed.
Cons: Improve drainage so that one would not be required to drive through running and standing water. Improve lighting. Offer free breakfast.
Location: A tourist location with lots of shopping and events that go on during the weekends. San Antonio is very close and numerous activities for all.
Flooding into the entrance of the hotel. Poor lighting. Had to get out in rain several times in order to locate the numbers on the buildings. Night staff appeared as if I was keeping them from doing what they desired and interrupted them in order to check in. Lots of wildlife and some nice landscaping. Room was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. I paid for breakfast, which was the same breakfast I would have received free from a Comfort Inn or Hampton Inn. We were wakened by construction going on outside our building. Overall, not a good value based on above details.

Belinda, I'm sorry your experience was not what you anticipated. We'd love the opportunity to have you back to enjoy our awesome improvements. Chef Michael has worked with local farmers and purveyors to create menus throughout the Resort that really capture the fresh flavors of the area.

The toilet did not flush, we had to remove the lid in order to do so. At check out we reported this to the Hotel Receptionist and she did not even apologize she just said you are all checked out good to go. We were very disappointed at $190 a night. Not coming back.
