Not horrible but not what we expectedPosted Sep 3, 2014
This hotel has an old feel to it. Our first impression was that it was a lower quality, older facility that had been upgraded. There was a damp smell in the rooms and they open right to the outside which was surprising. The pool is a lot smaller than expected but we enjoyed our day at the pool. The sheets and bedding were very nice. The spa was closed for the holiday weekend and we came for that and it was very disappointing. Also the wi-fi didn't work at all in some buildings and was choppy in others. Overall it lacked the resort luxury experience we were looking for but it wasn't horrible, some may enjoy it.

Tapatio was Fabulous!Posted Jul 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
Everything you would expect a resort to be. A winding country road opened up to reveal a beautiful well manicured golf course. Hotel personnel was friendly and very accommodating. Food was five star.

Central Texas getaway in BoernePosted Jun 29, 2014 on Hotels.com
The room was in a golf resort. Employees were friendly, and helpful. The area was quiet, but beautiful and well up-kept. The room was spacious, granite counters, coffee maker, 2 robes, balcony with chairs over seeing greenery, table for 2, and signature soaps and shampoos. Did not try the breakfast or restaurant in the resort, but did drive 5 miles to Boerne to shop and dine in a German restaurant.

Some good, Some badPosted Jun 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
Service was very good, front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. Staff in restaurant were also very accommodating. I wouldn't exactly call the place a "resort". It is very old and in need of some updates. We had a room with a patio but could not open the door because of the mosquitos and other insects that would come in. Screens are needed. The air conditioners are located just outside the patio door and it was very noisy so even if we opened the door it was to noisy to carry on a conversation. Location is very remote. Golf course was nice but very expensive to rent clubs, so did not golf while there.
