“broken water pipe”

We arrived one tuesday night and the hotel was closed. The person at the reception told us to stay at their second hotel in downtown due a broken water pipe. We chose this one bevause its location so they relocate us in the Hotel Mirador del Recuerdo wich was fine, clean and the staff was nice. To that hotel I would give a 4 stars grade.

“Good place to stay but CAN NOT rest and work!”

This hotel is for the business traveler. Its right in front of Corferias (National Exposition Center) and close to every place for the business traveler. I travel for business at least 2 times a month for many many years. I don't remember a worst internet connection/service in 10 years. It goies on and off. The staff was unable to do anything. There is nothing more frsutating in business than being unable to work for this matter. For the busines traveler this is vital. Also the rooms are very clean and nice but there is no way to darken them. You have to wake up at 6:00 AM when the light comes because the windows have a bright white panel from celing to floor. The staff is very helpful and nice. If tha administration would make the internet work and be able to darken the room, this would be a good stay. Otherwise it was extremely frustrating and time consuming. Thanks
