“I will definitely stay there the next time I visit Bogota”

The hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood. The hotel is impecably clean and the food is like a 5 star hotel. The management is always willing to arrange dinning for your convenience. I highly recommend this hotel.

“Great hospitality and service. Beautiful House”

I felt so good at this Hotel. This a quiet place where you can have a great sleep. The person at reception speaks fluent English and he asked me several times if everything was OK. It is not easy to find a hotel where people is always taking care of every guest needs. They make you feel at home. My room was very clean with fast internet. Breakfast was so good! Ask for Arepa with butter, which is a kind of bread, so tasty. They also helped me to plan my day trip around Bogota. I am sure I will come back to this colonial house, They are great hosts.

“Quint bed and breakfast hotel”

I went to Bogota to meet a lady who turned out to be my future wife. I wanted to submerse myself in the culture as much as possible while still retaining the ability to communicate in English since I know very little Spanish. So I chose Casa Hotel Marques de la Plata as a place to stay during my visit. With their level of English and my level of Spanish we were able to communicate very well and there fore there was no cause to be concerned for erroneous communications. I found the staff to be extremely helpful, courteous and professional. They retained an air of genuine concern for my pleasurable and comfortable stay. The free breakfast was always sufficient and may I add they had wonderful coffee!

“Not the best option”

While the hotels in Bogota are a bit expensive compared to other hotels in South America, or even the US, I did not find this to be a good option at all, especially for the price. It was like staying at a low end hotel at a medium end price.
