Overnight stay in BogotaPosted Jan 19, 2012 on Hotels.com
We stayed at the Continental on our way from Bogota to Cartagena and were very pleased. The room was comfortable, clean and modern. It was easy to get to and from the airport (the cab driver knew it and the hotel arranged a driver to take us back for the same cost of a cab). There was hot water for a shower, a water purifier in the refrigerator and wifi. The breakfast was simple but good: fruit, juice, coffee, toast and eggs. Finally, the staff was friendly and helpful. It fit our needs very well. We did not stay long enough to know about the neighborhood.

Continental All-Suites in BogotaPosted Jan 10, 2012 on Hotels.com
Arriving at night, I was met a short distance from the hotel door as you can not drive to the front door (transportation corridor). Come morning, I was pleasantly surprised by the vibrancy and safety of the neighborhood. It is about 2 blocks from the Gold Museum and near the trolley to Monserrat. Hotel was exceptionally clean and the rooms were large and well maintained. It was a 23,000 Peso ($12 USD) from the airport. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel Quality & ServicePosted Dec 21, 2011 on Hotels.com
The rooms aren't heated so make sure they provide you with a small space heater. Their small restaurant provides excellent service although you will want to wear a sweater as it is open to the fresh air and not heated. Service was generally good at the hotel although slow. Location was excellent for visiting the excellent Gold Museum and other sites in the old city. Their are also many eating establishments in the area and it is quite safe to walk around the well lit areas at night.

Great hotel, extremely close to the gold museumPosted Nov 28, 2011 on Hotels.com
One note is that the hotel is better known to the local cab drivers as the "continental hotel". Extremely clean rooms and facilities with super helpful staff.

Good Stay but would recommend kitchen supplies!Posted Apr 17, 2011
Pretty nice stay for a good price, had a nice breakfast included in out meal, continental plus custom omelette's made for us. Room was great, especially with a kitchen, only concern was that there were not pots or pans and very limited kitchen supplies!

Continental All Suites-Heart of Old TownPosted Jan 16, 2011 on Hotels.com
Perfect hotel for our stay in Bogota within walking distance of all the main sights. Located in historic Candeleria district and near Gold Museum and other museums. Ask desk for walking tour map. Hotel rooms were modern and ours included a kitchenette. There was a grocery store with a ATM one block away. Wonderful breakfast included with both hot and cold choices. Staff was very helpful and could not do enough for us. There was always someone who spoke English on duty. I did not have a laptop with me and the staff set me up with one to check my flight arrangements and email whenever I needed it.

COLOMBIA TRIP NO.3Posted Dec 22, 2010
OVERALL THE SERVICES ARE GOOD EXCEPT THE KITCHEN STOVE BROKE IN THE MIDDLE OF MY WEEKS STAY . I THINK THE DESIGN IS NOT GOOD AND HAS TO BE CHANGE . THE STOVE FELL DOWN . THEY HAVE OFFERED TO CHANGE MY ROOM TO ANOTHER ROOM BUT , I REFUSED BECAUSE OF SO MANY THINGS TO TRANSFER. I JUST HOPE WHEN I COME BACK TO THE SAME ROOM ,THEY REDESIGN IT . ROBERTO
