At the time of arrival we asked for a bigger room, they gave us (my husband, my 3 yr old and myself) one but they didn’t mentioned that this room which was located in a back tower didn’t have AC.Thanks to this our night was horrendous, the night was very hot and miserable; mind you, they charged us at front $400 thousand pesos. The next day we told the front desk and they offered us a smaller room at what they called “main tower” and they moved us; since then we have asked for 300 thousand pesos back because our current room is a smaller room and they just said: oh we will have to talk to the accountant department, we cannot do anything right now, do not worry. This is unacceptable coming from an entity who claimed to be the best. Very unfortunate situation, also we had to go to the front desk 3 times to reactivate the room keys because they will not work all the time.

The hotel is well-located, but the place needs a lot of maintenance. We stayed in a double-bedroom suite, and it looked like the bathrooms had a make-over, but it was done by a "butcher." the wall mirror kept falling, and it was hard to use it. I guess the cleaning ladies did not have much time to clean because the same hair on the floor stayed there for days after I got ready to go out. The same thing I can say about the carpet. They did not vacuum it. The breakfast buffet was excellent, but the service was not except for a few waiters, such as Christian and another sweet guy who changed his demeanor after we tipped him very well. The front desk personnel must attend a customer service seminar to avoid making faces when guests ask questions or a simple teapot for the room. I have to give a high mark to the transportation services that serve the hotel. All of them are honest and trustworthy. I highly recommend Alexander. His phone number is +57-313-8000762.

Appearance: The hotel's design stopped in 1990. They need to renew their image in 2023. Bedrooms: Generally good. Although they were not chosen when the reservation was made. Hotel restaurants: springs Pay attention to food duplication on your bill. It happened all the time. The orders arrived incomplete. Delays greater than 20 minutes. Heikei: Good. General comments: Upon my arrival the hotel did not have rooms available. Then they gave me one of the rooms without air conditioning. Without notifying the guest's preference. When I requested to change it I had to wait an additional hour.

This property does not provide accommodations for people with temporary or permanent disability. My reservation included breakfast. I went to the hotel buffer to get breakfast but wanted to eat in my room. I needed assistance to bring my breakfast to the room due to a temporary disability. I asked for help to bring it to my room for a room service fee. They told me I needed to pay for breakfast and the room service. The staff at the buffet confirmed breakfast was included, but declined to provide the service I requested. Their policy is unreasonable, absurd, and discriminatory. Additionally, the property advertises a spa and a cafeteria, which are not operating. Initially, I had another reservation at another hotel and canceled it to select this hotel specifically for the Spa and cafe they advertised. I had a horrible experience at this hotel.

Watch for construction
The area surrounding the hotel is undergoing a major construction project. Machinery is very loud, dust everywhere, difficult to walk around. The hotel should note this item on its advertisement in hotels.com Breakfast is good

The price was good for 10 day stay around $48 a night. Breakfast is included and it is good. There are areas that fall short. The staff was pretty nice, however very poor at basic English. For example, i asked for a small coffee maker for the room, they brought me a space heater. The room service food was fantastic however, the person who takes your order over the phone does not speak any English. My wife thankfully speaks fluent Spanish, but everytime my wife placed an order the woman Dajama, was so rude acting like we are ruining her day by giving our business to the hotel. The gym location is terrible, its on the top floor (floor 10). Bogota has a high altitude to begin with and the 10th floor is even worse. I accomplish half my normal workout and almost passed out. The man who operates the pool area was wearing at hat that has the F-word written in English on the front. Absolutely unprofessional and inappropriate when children are swimming. The bathrooms could use serious remodeling. The front doors are old and dont close easy. One day the maid left our door open while we were gone. Thankfully nothing was missing hours later when we returned. The laundry service was so over priced its not even funny. They force you to agree to paying extra to have your clothes ironed and pressed. I dont need my underwear and socks pressed. So we called a local service for a fraction of the price did pick up and drop off same day.

Safe and clean environment. Older hotel but kept up very nice. Very few towels and they are far from soft. Very happy with stay and staff

La Niña de la recepción no estaba informada sobre la excepción de impuestos para las personas extranjeras o residentes fuera de Colombia, pero llamó al manager y el ratificó que teníamos razón.
