This is the third time I have stayed here, and if coming back is a recommendation than repeat business is. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are large and always clean. Of course it is located right in the financial district with numerous good and great restaurants just walking distance around the corner. Being a smaller hotel, the staff gets to know you and is always gracious and making you feel at home.
The only downside is the complimentary breakfast. It is a buffet with many local dishes as well as typical american. If you come late in the morning, they do not always refresh the warm offerings and they can look dry. This is something that they could easily remedy.
Thanks for a great stay, I will return.

This is the second time I've stayed here. This guesthouse is a charming colonial home, & it's very reasonably priced in a nice residential area. The breakfast is included, staff immensely helpful, I will definitely stay here during all my stays in Bogota.

We were in Bogota for a few days, unfamiliar with the area. The staff at Lancaster House was exceptional, and really helped us out. The Gatsby restaurant was great and the free breakfast was the best I've ever had anywhere.

very helpful staff with suggestions about where to find exchange offices, supermarkets, transit, etc. in area. The soft drinks in minibar are free first night; two complimentary drinks at "happy hour" if desired. Clean room, secure hotel, nice area of the city--northern upscale district. Most people will take taxis, but you could walk (if feels safe to do so) to nearby (5-10 minute walk) virrey station (transmilenio public transit) which has a monday-friday link to airport and links to the historic centre area. Use precautions in bogota though! Avoid walking alone, especially at night in bogota. Interesting city though with some nice attractions (gold museum, historic district, emerald museum, monserrate lookout, calera lookout, national museum, etc. and some nice restaurants, cafes)

Execellent hotel! Very walkable to all nearby attractions and safe. The strength of this hotel is it's staff at every level. It took some time to adjust to the altitude and the cold for me who lives at sea level in the caribbean .

"Excellent staff, charming hotel, great restaurant"
Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights, couldn't say enough great things about it. The staff goes above and beyond and really made my stay enjoyable and stress-free. There is a restaurant where we had all of our dinners, and the rooms and hotel are charming and well-kept. Wifi worked great too.
