The best place to stay in Bogota

Posted Jun 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
My hosts Luis and Teresa were some of the nicest people I have ever meet. My room was Large clean and cheerful it was a front room I loved the colors and the decor, noise was not a problem. The breakfast was terrific I highly recommend this bread and breakfast you will be treated like family. They also have a dog who is very sweet. Bravo Edward

Nice welcoming place

Posted May 15, 2013
Pros: Location. Friendliness.
Cons: The bigger & nicer rooms are towards the street but can be noisy because of traffic. I took a (smaller) room facing the back which was very quiet.
Location: Short walk to the most of the (gay) bars and clubs
This was my second stay and I will definitely stay again when I am in Bogota The hotel is a short walk to the main bars and clubs. The area is save and in good condition. Owner is super friendly and caring (feels almost like family). They arranged a pick up from the airport which is so convenient when you arrive after a long flight.

Great Stay

Posted Dec 25, 2012 on Hotels.com
This hotel is in a fabulous location in the gayborhood of Chapinero. The owners are extremely helpful and sweet as is the night front-desk person. I had a great time and would definitely stay again. Knowing Spanish is a plus as the owners do not speak English. It is a short walk from all of the great Chapinero nightlife, shopping, and restaurants.

One night stay

Posted Nov 25, 2012 on Hotels.com
I was only in bogota for one night on a layover, but was mugged. The man at the front desk was very kind and compassionate afterwards, and talked with me and then allowed me to make a few calls back to the states. The hotel was great, the locals not so much.
