Bogota 2015

Pros: Everything, the staff, the food, the location.
Cons: Faster wifi. But the wifi was still fast.
Location: Good central location to most of the tourist site and restaurants/cafes.
The hotel was in a central location to most of the tourist sites. The staff were amazing and very helpful at all times. Breakfast was very good with a good selection of continental and hot Colombian food. Room itself was comfortable, clean and had plenty of hot water. When I return to Bogota I will defiantly stay here again.

Excellent location, good value

Clean nice room on a great location, close to the Gold Museum and many other sights. The staff is helpful but many don't speak much English. The breakfast buffet included is good tho no one told me I could order eggs and bacon which I would have liked to do. The area gets sketchy after about 7 pm requiring the use of taxis in the evening. From the higher floors some rooms have a great view of downtown.

The staff were very accommodating. The price included breakfast which was very good. Bar and meal services above average. Main strength was its location, within walking distance to the main attractions in downtown Bogota. Rooms were small; cable tv difficult to work, and wi-fi erratic.

rapport qualité prix

Pros: l'amabilité du personnel et petit déjeuner copieux et varié
Cons: le rapport qualité/prix doit être amélioré, pour le 2ème séjour la chambre était chère en raison de sa taille
Location: hotel très bien situé dans le quartier de la candelaria. Proximité du musée botero, de l'or, de montserrat
nous avons séjourné à 2 reprises au mois de janvier dans cet hotel et pour sensiblement le même prix la taille de la chambre et de la salle de bain était très inférieure la 2eme fois. Très peu d'espace autour du lit et petitesse de la salle de bain. Dans cet hotel il ne faut que dormir car toutes les prestations sont couteuses (restaurant cher et qualité moyenne, service de blanchisserie également couteux..). Lors de notre 1er séjour le coffre de la chambre ne fonctionnait pas en raison du manque de batterie....

Employees were professional, accommodating, and very helpful with luggage, check-in and out. The hotel is clean, modern decor, great restaurant and lobby. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I had the (2) best nights sleep of our 10 day trip there. I would only suggest putting the do not disturb sign on your door. I forgot to do so and was woken up twice, a friend had his door knocked on three times for various reasons, laundry, mini bar inventory, etc. Overall, I was highly satisfied. I would definitely stay here again.

Disappointing sexist staff

Pros: The room is nice and clean. Just like the pictures.
Cons: Staff and service. If you are so worried about the dress code, tell your guests that when they arrive not in the middle of the restaurant.
Location: La Candelaria, Monserrat, Museo del Oro
The room was nice and looked exactly like the pictures but I felt disappointed with the service and discriminated by the staff. The first night I was entering the Hotel with my boyfriend around midnight, coming back from a great concert next to the hotel and the guy attending the door asked my bf if I was registered. His tone wasnt nice and even though we explained the room was booked in my name and we were both registered, the guy insisted to check if I was registered (not my boyfriend, just me). The following morning, we were a bit late to have breakfast so we just put our sandals and basic clothes on and went to the restaurant. In front of everybody one of the guys didnt let me sit and told me I couldnt go there dressed like that. He told me I was using shorts and when I told him there was a guy doing the same, he couldnt really explain me the difference. We asked to talk to the manager that afternoon. It was my birthday and last two days of hollidays and I didn´t like the services at all. If you are staying here, also take into account some things: elevators take really long to come and if you are staying in a room next to it, you may have loud guests talking for a long time by your door from early morning! Street noise also starts around 7am.

Very nicely decorated hotel and rooms. Modern facilities. Great staff. Located right in historic district. Excellent value for your money.

Hotell Augusta, Bogotá

Med tanke på priset ett överraskande bra hotell, mycket vänlig och hjälpsam reception. Hotellet ligger dessutom i Candelaria med promenadavstånd till presidentpalats och torg och ganska nära stationen för Montserrat (utsiktspunkt). Ett äkta Bogotá, ligger strax utanför turistområdena. Personalen inte bra på engelska.
