“LOVE BOGOTA HOTEL REGENCY”

OUTSTANDING, EXCELLENT, SUPER, GREAT, THE PLACE THE PEOPLE EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT, THE GOOD MANNERS IS UNBELEIVABLE, THE SERVICE IS WAY MORE THAN WHAT I EXPECT IT, EVERYTHING WAS FINE SINCE THE ARRIVAL TILL THE DEPARTURE OF THIS HOTEL, I STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.

Everithing was Ok. The food was delicious and not expencive. Next week we go back to Bogota and we've already booked a night at this hotel

I foiund this hotel excellent and reasonably priced. The rooms are light and clean with sufficient room. The staff and lobby were well organised, friendly and helpful. The best hotel I have used in Bogota until now. There are good restaurant areas a few blocks walk away, and a large mall also a short walk.

Well located near restaurant area of Usaquen and Unicentro commerical center.

“Hotel Bogota recency - rubbish!!”

Front desk staff unhelpful and uninviting. I wanted to go to a certain place from the hotel and was immediately jumped upon by a cab from the hotel pool. I asked the price but had no idea whether this was a good price or not. Got a normal yellow cab back for half the price!! DO NOT USE THE CABS FROM THE HOTEL POOL UNLESS YOU WANT TOO GET RIPPED OFF!!. The electronic key did not work and I had to go myself to the front desk to get it re-chipped . Room was just about adequate for its rating but generally tired and dated.even the lobby area was freezing cold. Breakfast was adequate buffet but uninspiring with just 2 choices of fruit for breakfast and if you did not like melon or pineapple then you have had it. To get a cup of decaffeinated coffee took ages and by the time the coffee was found (Instant) then the milk was cold. Limited cereal choice, muesli or corn flakes. Had a lunch lunch time spaghetti bolognese, which was dry and piled high with a hard lump of melted cheese. Staff in the restaurant were a little better than the front desk. Then they had the cheek to charge me around 10,000 col pesos for so-called security charge plus a bottle of water which I had, but replaced. So in all they charged me 14,500 col pesos and said it was in the Expedia terms and conditions. I would never stay there again if you paid me. Been to a lot of hotels with Expedia and never had any problems like his before, especially the payment at the end which really put the icing on the cake.
