“Excellent Staff”
This hotel is in the old part of Bogota, with fantastic history and architecture, with lots to do in the vicinity. We felt very safe, as there was a visible presence of Police in most areas of the old town. We were told by many people to be careful with cameras etc. but like any large city, you should always be aware of your surroundings and dont be hanging out by yourself at 2am. on dark streets or alleyways. The rooms are very nice, hardwood floors, modern bathrooms with lots of hot water, and very comfortable beds. The decor of the lobbly, dining area, and roof top patio make it very comfortable. The best part is the staff of the hotel, from the cleaning ladies, the front desk, and the pleasant and gracious owner who is full of helpful suggestions and ideas about what to do, see, and where to eat. One suggestion, is to use earplugs and get an inside room, as street noise may interupt your sleep. For those used to city noise this wont be a concern. This was a great place.
