Nice stay

We stayed 5 days. Excellent location , walking distance from restaurants, supermarkets, buses, etc. super friendly staff, they were very helpful with all our needs. The breakfast is very good as well. We would stay here again.

sucker charges at this hotel

Pros: location
Cons: illumination
Location: very central
This Hotel hit us with an extra charge per night no listed anywhere in the reservation. After asking what the charges were for, they call it "insurance" and told us it was across the board for every Hotel in the country, since then we stayed in many other hotels in the same city and other parts of the country, and no one new about those extra charges. " Breakfast included" do not expect much in food quality and amount.

NO WIFI and Staff that laughs at you

I travel often all over Latin America and by far this was the worst stay that i have ever encountered. The staff told me all weekend that the WIFI would be working in hours, oh the next morning, that evening, the last day they finally tell me that hotel engineer is out of town and it would be back up on Monday or Tuesday. This was completely unnacceptable and I had to get an international upgrade for data on my phone, and now have a major bill to pay all because the hotel could not tell me the truth on the WIFI situation. There seemed to be no communication between staff members, because one staff member let me use the computer behind the desk of course i could only check my flight information, then later on that evening they front desk guy had to call somone to authorize for me to use again. Not even the WIFI in the lobby was working as they told me over and over that it was, even the staff at the lobby could not get it connected. Business center all computers were down as well. The staff thought I did not understand spanish and on one occassion thought i heard them say something as I walked in and laugh as I walked by. The staff had no other things or places to go to get WIFI. I had told a staff member that the security fee they wanted to charge me was not going to be paid because of the no WIFIthen at check out they made me pay and said to bad there was no way around it, and they said by no means would any staff member tell me it was ok not to pay it, which is what was said to me when I told them I was not going to pay after finding out the WIFI was not going to work. Also they had airport ransportation and it was not offered until i told them i wanted management s email to send a letter then I was offered free airport transportation.
