Hotel location was so so, but near some large streets. Room was comfortable and good TV. Unfortunately no hot water at night. Breakfast was good.

No hot water for shower.Posted Dec 6, 2013
Cons: Inspected by their equivalent of the AAA.
Location: Three blocks down and on some of the side streets are cafe's for baked goods and orange juice and food carts. 10 minute walk to museums.
Left after the next day. Told problem would be fixed. No hot water for shower. Staff spoke no english. Luckily I was w/a friend who spoke spanish. Got a refund for remaining days MINUS 7% charge on my c.c. I am not fussy about old hotels, I stayed at Sahara in Vegas (now closed). Horrible reviews but I enjoyed staying there (5x). This hotel had a nice lobby and nice small room (no elevator-no problem for me). I ended up staying at the Hotel del Parque Superior. It reminded me of pre-Castro elegance. Old hotel, old shower head-but after 5 min. I had hot water w/nice water pressure. The staff were pleasant to me and my "mouth piece".
