“the price is right”

Very clean and comfortable room, free simple breakfast and wi-fi. So you have everything you need. Neighborhood is ok during the day, with the Santa Barbara historic and shopping district about 20 minutes by walking, and a supermarket about 10 minutes away. Restaurents are hard to find around the hotel. Taxis are inexpensive but traffic gridlock is everywhere, so plan your day carefully. Vehicle fumes is quite toxic.

Very comfortable; excleent room; small dinning room however enough. Dificult to wifi access if you have your laptop with firewall or VPN.

I was very impressed with the helpgfulness of the whole staff, from the desk to the ladies in charge of the breakfast bar, and their willingnesss to answer questions and provide information. The room was excellent, and I was was very favorably impresed by the hotel's attempts to be ecologically friendly.

Very good service, well placed near shopping malls. Nothing fancy and very affordable. Would recommend a new telephone system.

“Too much noise”

The place has a good location the staff is nice but not really helpful. It's a place for business not for tourists. The rooms are extremely noisy the hotel has absolutely no sound isolation and since the hote Is on a very busy street it's hard to sleep because of the noise

“A Great Hotel Choice in Santa Barbara”

I stayed at the Santa Barbara Real Hotel for a few weeks, and enjoyed my time there. The hotel staff were very polite and helpful, the location is very convenient, and the breakfast buffet was nice. The hotel is close to Unicentro, and the free shuttle bus can take you to the hotel and back every hour or so. There is a Bakery nearby, as well as a drugstore and laundry business. There were two inconveniences with the hotel, though. One is that the noise isolation (both from the street and from the corridor) is not good. The other one is that their double bed is too narrow for two people to sleep in.

the only complaint is the matress but the hotel has a good service, is new, is very clean and is my second time at the hotel

“Pretty good”

The hotel is very clean and staff was nice. Our room came with breakfast which was plentiful. The neighborhood is very nice and there's easy transportation nearby and a huge mall not too far. Our room was facing the main street and it could get a little noisy with the traffic at night and early morning. Overall we recommend it.
