“Clean, modern hotel near business and tourist area”

This hotel is ideally situated for both tourists and business travelers. It's ideally situation at the intersection of two important thoroughfares--one leading to the airport and the other one that turns into a pedestrian street leading to the important colonial attractions. The wifi functioned 100% of the time (which i can't say about most hotels) and had a different network for each floor AND the lobby. The rooms are pretty small but if you've ever stayed at an Ibis before, is basically the EXACT same as any other one of their hotels (i stayed at one in Jordan and the room layout and color scheme was exactly the same). Very clean. No bugs. Housekeeping did a very thorough job cleaning the room to be spotless and changing sheets and everything. It's located literally right next to the oldest museum in Bogotá, the Museo Nacional (Colombian History musem) and on top of a Subway restaurant, frozen yogurt restaurant, across the street from several ATMs and a couple more restaurants. From the hotel if you walk left on Calle Séptima (7th Street) it turns in to the pedestrian street leading to the colonial zone FULL of shops and restaurants. The other important museums (Gold museum, Museo Botero, and Casa de Moneda) are about 10-15 min walk from the hotel. Breakfast is 13,000 COP if not already included in your room rate (mine wasn't) and was decent. Two juices, coffee, tea, several yogurts, three cereals, lots of fresh fruit, plenty of bread, croissants, meat, cheese, and eggs.

“Bogota's Newest Star”

This place is a business class hotel that is also the most perfect location to see Bogota. Across the street from the the National Museum, safe and secure business district, next to new hot Macarena neighborhood and walking distance to most tourist sights. Couldn't believe how lucky I was to stay here. Welcome to the new Bogota!! Stay in style and comfort!! I love this place!!
