Best Hotel in Bogota. Hotel is in great condition. Mostly frequented by business people. I traveled with my wife and 4 y/o .He enjoyed the pool and buffet breakfast. Bogota has great museums and restaurants

“Excellence and its Pursuit Defines the JW Marriott”

This is one of the finest hotels I have ever stayed at, and certainly among South America's two or three best. Though I arrived late at night, check-in was swift, friendly, and professional. My reservation was perfectly in order, including all of the "extras" that came with my Expedia Special Rate. My room, a standard king, was unusually spacious. I like to work out in my room, and there was plenty of space for that. The bed deserves special mention: it was dreamy, with the highest quality pillows and sheets to match. It felt like I was curling up on a cloud. Housekeeping is amazing. Upon leaving my room for the breakfast buffet, I called each day to ask that my room be made up. Astonishingly, when I returned 45 minutes later it was always once again in perfect order. Nightly turn-down service is another treat and includes a fresh robe and slippers. The breakfast and lunch buffets are vast, carefully planned, and include made-to-order stations for omelettes at breakfast and meat, chicken and fish dishes at lunch. Whichever you choose, there is always an unobtrusive waiter at hand at all times for whatever else you may need. In fact, the unobtrusiveness of the service at this hotel is rare and wonderful; when you need it, it is there instantly -- yet it never feels like anyone is hovering over you. This is a very difficult balance to achieve. The JW Marriott Bogota comes with my highest recommendation.
