“Family on a Colombian visit”

The hotel is centrally located for Bogota, midway between the far North and downtown. It is very clean and the staff is helpful and attentive. The rooms are large and comfortable. The location next to the Zona T is a plus for the proximity of shopping areas, bars and restaurants, but can be a detraction if you are trying to sleep on a Friday or Saturday night due to the loud discoteques nearby.

The Morrison hotel has a very good location in the heart of the zona rosa (close to restauraunts, bars, clubs, etc). My first room was very basic and I was a bit disappointed. I requested another room and it was exceptional. (A better bed and plasma TV..couldn't believe the difference...) The hotel had problems with internet service but the staff were very friendly which was appreciated.

“Gem in the heart of Bogota”

We stayed one night in order to catch a flight the next afternoon to our destination town in Colombia. The rooms were clean, comfortable and a little larger than a standard US hotel room. Most of the staff spoke English. The airline lost a suitcase and the hotel concierge "happily" spent a lot of time making sure the Colombian airline knew who to contact in our destination city as well as ensuring our itinerary for the remainder of our trip was in order. A buffet breakfast is included in the price of the room. Many shops and resturants within walking distance (2 blocks) are open late at night. The only down side was some noise and dust in the morning from some construction to add a new wing to the hotel.

Front desk people very helpfull and friendly, breakfast was ok, but there was not enough either glasses or plates, room was clean and confy, be aware of shoeshine guys outside hotel, generally a good place to stay.
