Wonderful StaffPosted Jan 29, 2015
Pros: The staff! Great people.
Cons: Again, not crazy about the smoke smell in the room, but the staff did make time to listen and do something about it.
Location: Close to the green belt and fun attractions. Midway between the fairgrounds and downtown. It is a great location.
Wonderful staff! The room had some problems with a previous tenant that was a smoker. The room reeked of smoke. The staff was very accommodating and I know they dealt with cleaning the bedding and room after my stay.

Good ValuePosted Jan 25, 2015
Pros: Large room, clean, good price
Large Room, Older hotel, but rooms were nice, bed was nice, clean. If you want a nice place, not fancy, to stay for a night or two, that doesn't cost a lot, this is a good place. The breakfast was very good. I would stay here again.

Old and oldPosted Jan 24, 2015
This is so in need of a renovation for the price. The carpet was so stretched I tripped twice on it cause it was buckled. Shower head shot 4 streams of water out.

Friendly Staff, Central Location, Needs Overhaul!Posted Jan 22, 2015
The front desk staff was pleasant, but this hotel is in need of updating! The first clue is that they hand out actual huge brass keys as room keys. I wouldn't have spent more than $65 on this room, but I needed a cheap place and this worked. The sheets were clean, but the bedding was pilling and the mattress was pretty well worn out. The carpet was vacuumed but I still opted to keep my slippers glued to my feet. The bathtub had an anti-slip surface on it that looked like a little too much like brown sandpaper, so I skipped my soak and opted for a shower--the water was nice and hot! I could hear everything through the walls but finally managed to sleep.

The hotel is older, but we had a wonderful stay. The staff was excellent, and the room was clean and comfortable. We felt safe, and no one bothered our belongings in the room just as we had asked.

Excellent locationPosted Jan 18, 2015
Pros: The sliding glass door allowed quick access to the bike path.
Cons: On Friday night the room next to mine was partying until 2:40am. The person at the desk should have them be quiet.
Location: Close to downtown, the river park, the bike path, BSU---great location.
I loved being so close to the river and the bike path.

Pros: Breakfast and friendly staff
Cons: The TV could be improved. Didn't have many channels and no info on what was available. Hard to get it to work.
Location: Location was convenient.
The breakfast was great and we enjoyed the sauna and steam and spa. Very nice after a long day in chilly Boise.
