Visit to Idaho's Capitol CityPosted Sep 11, 2014
Pros: Went there to sleep, and we got it.
Cons: Nothing. I had what I expect in a moderately priced motel
Location: VERY convenient to find, get to, and get out of. We didn't explore much nearby.
Was OK. Had all the comforts I expect in a motel. Not exceptional, but definitely OK. I would stay there again.

Unpretentious, older motel.Posted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: Surprisingly nice breakfast buffet included with the room rate. Lots of available parking.
Cons: The room could have used some fresh paint and new wallpaper, but the towels were soft and the TV worked fine.
Location: Right off the highway, 3 miles from Downtown Boise and BSU.
Friendly staff, low price, close to downtown. We could overlook the slilghtly run-down character of the place. We were travelling on business, and it was comfortable and well-located.

Good for the price.Posted Sep 8, 2014
Stayed here on the way to Utah, and then again on the way back. Desk clerk screwed up on the first night and gave us the wrong room number. The key would not work and so the housekeeping lady used her key to let us in. She said that it sometimes took a while for the key to update. We took our stuff in and started to unpack as it was almost midnight and we wanted to get to bed. Something in the back of my mind said go and check with the desk clerk as to why the key was not working yet. Just as well I did, as he gave me the wrong room number, 223 instead of 233. He fixed the problem without an apology, and I went back to the room to give the wife the bad news. She was already in her Pj's so she was not amused. We moved to the correct room and unpacked again. I don't know who would have been shocked more if I had just waited until morning to sort out the key problem. Us, or the person who came into that room while we were in bed, thinking it was empty! As to the room, it was clean and tidy, had towels, soap, shampoo and coffee. Continental breakfast was included. Eggs and sausage, cereal, toast, muffins, bananas or oatmeal. On the whole it was good enough for the $67 night I payed.

Excellent amenities, especially for the price!Posted Jul 29, 2014
Room was clean, bed was comfortable, nice pool area. Hot breakfast at built-in restaurant was great. Shame we arrived too late to sample the dinner. Walking distance to a few local restaurants. Price was very reasonable.

Not the best place to stay, but cheap!Posted Jun 25, 2014
Pros: The breakfast and the cost
Cons: The AC, the condition of the room, the condition of the hot tub, the front staff getting off their cell phones when checking you in would be nice too.
Location: Close to St. Al's hospital.
We have been here a couple of times as the breakfast is good and the place is cheap. Twice the AC wouldn't work...once they moved us to a different room and once they gave us a box fan. Twice the hot tub wouldn't work. Once the hotel employees were in the pool drinking beer and carrying on. Only one time that we have been here have both the AC and the hot tub worked at the same time. The place is showing a lot of wear. The top drawer of the dresser wouldn't close and this this last time we were there, we had been checked into our room for an hour when a housekeeper used a key and walked right into our room. No apology - they just shut the door and left. The breakfast is good and it is cheap, so we have kept coming back...but I think this is our last visit.

air conditioner didn't work well...all else great!Posted Jun 17, 2014
Pros: The location of the motel was good for me. I also looked for a motel with a pool which you have. The cleanliness was a must and I was satisfied!
Cons: The air conditioner.
Location: I was visiting family and the motel was a close location for most.
I stayed a week and the staff was great, the room clean and did all we asked. The pool was a big plus for us and it was very clean and inviting, the motel location was also good for us. We had a great week there with the exception of the airconditioner. It didn't keep a constant temperature....it was too cold and later too warm etc etc. I would come back to stay there though and would recommend it along with mention all the pluses but also the negative of the airconditioner.

The Price is rightPosted Jun 16, 2014 on Hotels.com
First off we thought the price was really reasonable for what you got. The room was comfortable. The pool area was awesome. Would be great for a family reunion or any get together. Large pool area, really nice pool and hot tub, play area, shuffle board, tetherball, gas bar-b-que. It had it all. The greakfast was also the best we have ever seen for a motel breakfast. Definately would recommend this place.
