Great Free Breakfast!

Posted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: Kids liked the pool!
Cons: Workout equipment needed replacing or fixing.
Location: Close to river!
It's not a new hotel and some things in the workout room are broken, but other than that, we loved this place - You can't beat the price! You can sit outside on the patio and enjoy the fantastic breakfast buffet selection, and then walk the path along the river! It's right there!

nice location along the river

Posted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: had the river out its back door with what looked like a nice walking/biking path that was popular
Cons: motel is ready for a face lift/makeover
Location: advertised as downtown but was not. Had to drive to downtown for the resturants/night life which I was hoping to avoid
could tell it was a top end motel at one time but was starting to show its age, starting to look tired.

Wouldn't go back

Posted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: Location is convenient.
Location: Close to downtown and right on the Boise River Greenbelt.
The AC worked very well and kept the room comfortable, which isn't always the case, even in hotels costing three times as much as this one. Beds were clean and the pillows were nice, but the mattresses were worn out and uncomfortable. I slept very poorly. In the morning, after I returned from breakfast, the room had a slight smell of mildew. I did not see signs of mold in the room, but the smell was unmistakable. There were ants - not a lot, but more than one or two. If I had had food in the room, I would have been worried about it.

It was nice to stay in a pet friendly room with a door in the room to the riverside. That was very nice. The hotel seems a bit worn out.

Inexpensive and gets the job done

Posted Aug 6, 2014
Pros: The location, literally right on the Greenbelt trail, about 2 miles from downtown.
Cons: Upkeep in the rooms
Location: The watermark area, which is still being developed, is only a half-mile up the trail. Otherwise, the trail itself is the. Main attraction.
The location is nice, right on the run/bike trail. We stayed 2 nights- one at the start of our camping trip, and one at the end. Both rooms were mostly clean and working (chip bag under the bed, one chipped glass, one light didn't work). But, the AC in the first room was pathetic, we sweat all night. In the hotel's defense, we didn't complain or ask to switch because we were exhausted. So. Check your rom out before you get settled in.

Right next to Boise River and Green way.

Posted Aug 6, 2014
Pros: They still use keys for the room. I had to chuckle at that.
Location: Idaho Record Exchange and downtown Boise.
Close access to downtown and right off of 184. I would say possible close to airport. Within a few miles. You can walk out the back door and there was the green way to walk on. While I was eating there provided breakfast I thought I was crazy watching people walk and ride bikes right by it. Then I realized I was looking at the green way.

Pathways near hotel was nice. But rooms are old and need Remodeling. Bathroom sink didn't drain. Hot tub was dirty and smelled. Pool was nice, but needs better maintained.

Our room smelled like cigarette smoke though it was non-smoking. Our shower curtain had mold on it and the wifi speed was dial up speed. This hotel is old and delivers what would be expected for the price.
