“Springhill Suites, Boise”

This hotel was very clean and well maintained. The front desk was curtious and graciously answered all my questions. The staff opened the breakfast area early for those of us traveling over the holidays. The room was ready for us when we arrived, the beds were comfortable and we were able to get a great nights rest. Next time in Boise, I know where I'm going to stay.

Dining

If you are looking for a good hamberger try Five Guys and Fries (2830 North Eagle Rd). You can stack them with whatever you like for one price. The people there are great and the bergers were some of the best I've had in a long time. I actually got my teens filled without spending a fortune!

“Great quiet place to stay”

We have stayed here twice and would stay again if we are back in Boise. The rooms are very clean with everything we needed. The staff ws very helpful and friendly. The only complaint we had was that our second morning there, the breakfast buffet was short of quite a few things. Other than that, it was great!

“Best in Boise”

Beds were comfy. Room was clean and smelled nice. Bathroom was spotless and shower was wonderful. Breakfast was your standard fare PLUS eggs, sausage, fresh oatmeal with almonds, brown sugar and craisins yummm! Waffles were good. Hotel staff was friendly in every area. I will definitely stay here again!

“A Great Fall Getaway with my wife”

A great experience. Flew from St. Louis to Boise on a 7:30am flight, getting into Boise around noon. Car pickup was fast and convenient. Hotel was a short 20 minute ride to a convenient side of town. The desk clerk and staff were helpful and polite. They gave us some good recommendations for places to eat dinner, and directions to get downtown. Our room was very nice, with comfortable beds, spotless floors, and a super clean bathroom. Great beds with warm, soft comforters. The morning breakfast buffet offered many good choices, and was supervised by an attentive, well ,mannered staff. Our first night the General Manager hosted a wine and cheese gathering in the breakfast area. Pool and spa area was very well maintained, and had plenty of towels to dry off with. Our seven night stay was definitely first class. We would make it a point to stay here again.

Area recommendations

Depends on what they want to do..... This area was very convenient to us, because we wanted to explore the countryside around Boise. We visited Silver City, a ghost town 70 milles west, McCall, Stanley, Sun Valley, and Ketcham. during our stay. If you want to visit Boise State University, I would recommend staying downtown, or near the airport.

“Good Bet for Boise”

Nice decor; comfortable sitting area separated from the bed. Walls a little thin -- could hear TV next door. One thing that bothered me was the one small window looked like someone had thrown 2 or 3 tomatoes at it sometime ago and the hotel had not bothered to have it cleaned. No eggs at breakfast the first morning I was there, and I had specifically booked that hotel for a hot breakfast. Was told "the order did not come in;" next day there was no bread at the breakfast (though there were bagels, muffins, etc.) -- same story "the order did not come in." All in all was a nicely decorated, clean room with a comfortable bed and really enjoyed the pool. Is somewhat "out of the way" but does have some services within walking distance and is very quiet -- no where near freeway!
