Overnight stop while moving

Posted May 20, 2015
Staff was very friendly and helpful. We didn't arrive until 2:00am and the young lady was there waiting for us to check us in and get us into our room quickly. That was very nice as I had just driven twelve hours to get there. Room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning had enough selection to get us going and on the road.

Nice Night Spent in Boise

Posted May 4, 2015
Pros: Location; price. Courteous staff.
Cons: See above!
Location: Visit relatives. No fast food restaurants close by, unfortunately.
Liked everything about our stay! The cooling system was a little "iffy" (one of the first warm days of the year) but may have been pilot error. Also, main desk was not manned two of the 3 times I went there for assistance during our visit. Also, handicapped bathroom needs a shelf/bench or a chair to fit inside the bathtub.

Dear Helen, Thank you for your recent stay at the Super 8 Boise. I am happy to see you had a good experience. We are going through and doing maintenance on all of our air conditioners to make sure they are all working and ready to go for the warmer months coming up. Thank you for your feedback and we will look into getting a bench for our accessible rooms. We hope to see you back at our property in the future. Thank you, Larissa Wilson General Manager Super 8 Boise boisegm@kvamngt.com

Worst Hotel I have ever been in.

Posted Apr 3, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything. Seriously.
It was absolutely discussing. Hair on bed and in pool. None of the doors/windows locked. I had to repair the deadbolt lock myself because it had been ripped off the door. Staff said it was fine. It wasn't. I will never return.

Another bad experience at Super 8, never again

Posted Mar 30, 2015
Pros: Nothing. Well, it was close to the freeway; that was good.
Cons: Breakfast (we stayed at Holiday inn in Orem the next night for 5.00 more and the breakfast was sensational), a room ready for occupancy.
We got in late, tired, and our bed was unmade, a towel was lying in the middle of the floor. We waited at least 10 minutes and ended up dragging all our stuff 5 miles back to the front desk and then another mile to another room. Breakfast was disappointing: the waffle iron was out of order and the orange juice was unrecognizable. After the debacle we experienced last year in Provo, Utah (keys did not work, first 2 rooms were unmade and phones were disconnected), we will not be staying at Super 8 ever again. Sorry.

Pros: It was conveniently located and the price was very affordable while still feeling safe.
Cons: The selection of breakfast was reasonable, however the presentation was significantly disappointing.
The property is in the process of renovation. The rooms are complete and are comfortable and clean. The front desk is in a temporary location and the staff is very positive despite the confusion of relocating. The breakfast area is difficult to find, was not well stocked and the staff in charge of monitoring it was unconcerned with missing forks, and empty food bowls on the buffet. The stock room and dish room doors were open allowing the guests to see open boxes muffins stacked randomly and piles of dishes and dirty mops.

Location: Close to Arches National Park and Moab.
Rooms appeared to be recently remodeled, very nice, looked better than any other Super 8 I have stayed in. Very upscale.

Good last minute hotel

Posted Mar 8, 2015
Cons: Cleaner towels and working heating/cooling unit.
Location: Good location. Close to everything in Boise.
Everything was OK, except for the fact that there were hair balls in the "fresh" towels. Room was adequate. Breakfast was good. Room temperature was too hot and heating/cooling unit did not seem to work.
