NOT A BAD HOTEL

Posted Dec 26, 2014
The king size room was very generous with space. IT HAD A SAFE (UNDER THE NIGHTSTAND) IN THE ROOM, A HUGE SITTING CHAIR, WRITING TABLE WITH ELECTRICAL OUTLETS, A MICROWAVE, A REFRIGERATOR AND A POWER STRIP (WITH 6 OUTLETS) CONNECTED TO A SURGE PROTECTOR. What was convenient for me was that the parking area was right outside of the hotel room door, the laundry facilities were right down the hall from my room and it served a Continental breakfast from 9am to 10am. i didn't like the bathroom setup (i always kept looking for the toilet paper) and i didn't like the fact that the bed was 2 feet from the window (not that it was a bad thing.....it was below 32 degrees and it didn't stop raining during my visit to Idaho). All in all, i would stay at this hotel again without hesitation.

Motel 8

Posted Dec 25, 2014
Pros: It was close to the airport and had an Applebees across the street so could eat dinner there.
Cons: Have some kind of breakfast for early travelers provided and clean their carpets.
Location: There is nothing within walking distance from the motel, only Applebees.
The positive side, is this motel is close to the airport and provides a shuttle to the airport whenever you want it. (They contract a Taxi service to take you). The room was clean but the carpets had spots on it both in the room and hallways which makes you wonder just how clean they are. The real NEGATIVE part is unless you are still there until 6 AM, they will not give you anything to eat. I even asked if they could give us a piece of fruit and they said no. REALLY. So if you have an early flight, don't expect any breakfast (even though their they tell you that breakfast is part of the deal). Motel 8 could at least have some cold cereal and milk or some pieces of fruit that people who have to leave early could eat.

Pros: Location
Cons: cleanliness; room was tacky
The room was not clean. The room was very tacky. We have stayed at Super 8s in other towns and have found them very pleasing. On our way back through Boise, we stayed at the Hampton Inn for less money. Room was fabulous!

That's what I get for trying to save $40!

If you just need a bed to sleep and can look past the condition of the hotel, the room, and the vagrants walking the halls, you will be ok. If you want piece of mind that your not going to get sick from staying here, then don't stay here!

Close to Highway

Posted Nov 21, 2014
Pros: We are always pleased with the bed and the breakfast!
Cons: I would like to see a drop in price as it is higher than most places we stay by $15 a night.
Location: We are only ever there over night.
This is the 3rd time we have stayed here coming back and forth through the states. It is convenient because it is easy to get to from the highway.

Pros: Cheap rates
Cons: Clean the bathroom betterr.
Location: Location was perfect for our needs and you get a discount at the Applebee's across the street if you show them your room key card.
Usually stay at Best Western hotels but couldn't this time. Overall I'd rate the hotel a 3. They need to make sure the bathrooms are cleaned better. I lifted up the bath mat and there was mold and dirt under the mat. Mold on the bathtub.

Felt like I was staying in a dungeon underground.

Posted Oct 22, 2014
Pros: Applebee's across the street
Cons: Cleanliness (window sills) and maintenance (rocking toilet). Could also use light coloured room decor so you felt less like you were in a dungeon.
Not comfortable with only window at parking level. When you removed stick in window to get some air it was disgusting the crap and crud that was in the window sill! Disgusting. Toilet rocked. Will definitely not stay here again. Only good thing was that Applebee's was across the street so that was convenientl.
