Ok for the price

Posted Nov 16, 2014
Pros: clean, maintained and friendly staff.
Cons: a little more work removing snow from the sidewalks and parking lot.
Location: close to freeway, airport and dinning. Not far from BSU and down town area.
Older facility that is well maintained, clean and friendly staff. If you are looking for a reasonable price, nice pool, and friendly staff this is the place. This is our third time staying and we have not been disappointed. The facility does have a restaurant on site that fair in quality and price.

Should not be the first choice!

Posted Oct 27, 2014
Pros: The staff that was there was friendly and attempted to provide good service.
Location: Site is pretty isolated with only one other restaurant within walking distance that one was disappointing.
I was unable to check-in at arrival 12:30 pm due to a change-over in ownership and financial management; the in-house restaurant was closed "for lunch" and the sports bar was closed due to loss of licenses. The staff was insufficient to handle the number of guests in the hotel.

Nice hotel

Posted Oct 27, 2014
Cons: Front desk did not have my reservation from Expedia. Lady acted like it was my fault and my problem. Not rude but very cool to me.
Room cool and could not get heater to work. Maintenance came quickly and got it fixed.

Wrong time to visit.

Posted Oct 25, 2014
Pros: i Like that this hotel was close to the freeway and quiet enough for me to sleep.
Cons: The restaurant needs serious attention.
Location: The airport and freeway are nearby.
The front desk people were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was out of all the food choices and way under-staffed.

Family weekend away

Posted Oct 25, 2014
Pros: Lots of comfy pillows!
Cons: Pool, water pressure, bedding
Location: The location is great, close to most things in Boise, and close to the freeway for easy access to everything else you want to do.
My husband and I have stayed at the Boise Hotel numerous times over the past couple of years and always enjoyed it. This time, however, we noticed that the room they placed us in was extremely loud, the bed skirt had white stains on it and didn't appear to be changed anytime recently. The shower was a typical, poor hotel shower, the shower head would loose pressure when you turned the water warm, if you wanted to take a cold shower you could have lots of water pressure. The Hotel does however offer plenty of comfy pillows, which is a plus, and the shower head is placed higher than many other Hotel showers. Expedia said that refrigerators were available upon request, we called the Hotel and they said it was not really a request-able thing, but we could try it. So we requested it so that we could have a place to keep our baby's milk cool, when I checked in they didn't look at that memo or it was never put down, because I had to request it again. The pool is has an extreme amount of chlorine and salt in it. The pool was also too cold to even attempt to get in. We had our 13 month old daughter with us and really wanted to take her swimming and couldn't do it because of the poor pool conditions. Most likely will never be staying here again.

When we went to check in to the Boise Hotel, we were told they had been very busy the night before and that the room with King size bed we requested was not yet ready. We were given the option to check in to a "double" or that we could wait at the bar while it was cleaned and then check in. They could not check us in until it was cleaned, apparently. The desk clerk was apologetic and polite, so no worries. We left to visit with friends and returned when the room was ready. It had a microwave, coffeemaker and mini-fridge. While it had a dresser, the room did not have a closet. We also had a nice sofa in our room. The bathroom had one little bottle of shampoo/conditioner, one little bottle lotion and one tiny bar of hand soap, but no extra roll of toilet paper. We had to ask for extra of these things on more than one occasion. We were in Boise 4 days/3 nights for a wedding, so the hotel was otherwise perfect for why we were there. It is close to the Bosie Airport, downtown Bosie and Boise State University.

Pros: the Location to the freeway
Cons: needs a good remodel
My room was not as nice looking as the pictuers online . Room was rather old looking, furniture was dirty, bathroom was small and the door took upi most of the walking area. There was no fan so the bathroom was always damp.

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times; this last stay was a disappointment. The hallway of the first floor of the private building, where my room was located, was completly filthy. There were dirty, used dishes sitting outside of my room, and other rooms down the hall. When I brought this issue to the attention of the front desk staff the next morning, I was told "your room was pre-paid so there is nothing we can do". This response was completly unprofessional. I didn't want a refund. I wanted an apology and assurance that the matter would be looked into and it wouldn't happen again.
