“A Very Nice Surprise”

We stayed one night here while travelling through Idaho. Meridian was not our destination, but we wish this property would have been at our destination. The lobby was clean, new and nicely decorated. The rooms, however, were the most pleasant surprise of all. It felt more like a nicely furnished small apartment, with a small kitchen area, ample closet space, a work space, a large comfortable bed and nicely appointed bathroom. We were very pleased and it provided a perfect stop at the end of a long day of driving.

The Towneplace Suites made our stay in Boise very enjoyable.

The room was outstanding, an absolute steal for the price we paid. The breakfast was delicious, and the accommodations were terrific.

This was an extremely great place to stay. I would not hesitate to recommend to my friends. The breakfast bar was fantastic and very well maintained each morning. The pool area was clean and very well maintained. We also enjoyed the exrcise room. Equipment was very high quality.

we were impressed by how clean the room was. We just wish that there would have been more food at the contenital breakfast they were still open for another hour but all they had was waffles and oatmeal. other than that it was a pleasent stay.

“Nice visit”

The location is very good. Right off the interstate. However, it was maybe a block away from another Marriott. Got confused. The Townplace Suites was tucked back in from a bunch of fast food joints and hard to figure out how to access the entrance into the parking lot. Some signs would help, if possible. When we needed to iron some clothes, we discovered the iron cord retracting device on the bottom of the iron was badly cracked and broken. Called the front desk. They delivered a new one w/in 15 minutes. Good service there, but this should've been checked after the previous tenant left. Breakfast was okay. Too small of an area to cram all the food items and food prep in. Fruit was old, not fresh at all. Would've been nice to have some eggs/bacon/sausage/potatoes in the serving area. Nice friendly service and very clean. Will definitely return, but will bring our own fresh fruit and snacks. One last thing...upon returning home, I discovered Marriott charged my credit card again for the room. I contacted the front desk after returning home and was told they charged my card and not Expedia. Duh. It got fixed in 2-3 business days, but it shouldn't have happened.

“not as expected”

Everything was wonderful, but we requested (30 days in advance) a ground floor room, due to my wife's knees. When we checked in they put us on the top floor underneath some equipment on the roof. It made a humming noise all day and night.

“Experienced Housekeeping Staff Needed!”

We booked this room for three nights. Our room was nice & clean upon arrival. We left the room the next morning and upon our return in the evening, we found our bed made and fresh towels. That's it. Returning both evenings the room was hardly cleaned. Dirty dishes and a dirty coffee maker was still dirty. Funny thing is, we didn't use the cups or coffee maker the second morning. They were left for the entire stay that way. It was also evident that someone had used the toilet both days. There was toilet paper left in the toilet each day (and not from us!) There was hair in the tub, hair on the floor, and hair on the counter. By the morning of our departure, I looked behind the bathroom door and there was a huge wad of my hair! Long hair is high maintenance but so is laminate flooring - it needs wiped every day! Obviously it wasn't. Towels at this hotel are manufactured with 100 grit sandpaper - they'll rip your skin off! Also, be prepared to walk the halls for a LONG time before you find an elevator. I've never stayed in a hotel where the elevators were not near the lobby. As I said, the hotel IS beautiful but lacks convenient locations for their elevators and REALLY lacks an experienced, detail oriented housekeeping staff.
