Excellent accommodations, perfect locationPosted Apr 27, 2015
Location: Right on Piazza Maggiore, the center of the city. Close to many museums, including one on the outstanding Bolognese artist Giorgio Morandi.
I lived in Bologna years ago and returned for a conference recently. The staff could not have been more helpful. The room was clean and well organized, and very quiet. The breakfast buffet was extensive, and wine and cookies were available in the afternoon.

A perfect urban hotelPosted Apr 21, 2015
A locally owned small hotel in the heart of Bologna's historic center with a charming, helpful staff and perfect, stylish small rooms. A pleasure to stay there.

Central location and almost elegantPosted Jan 18, 2015
Pros: Everything. Very quiet. Rooms not huge but more than adequate for two adults with luggage. The bathtub!
Cons: A double room should have two chairs in it. The clock theme is cute, but none of the clocks work, and each reads a different time-decide on one.
Location: Perfect. Easy bus ride to the station. Walk to most of the important churches, museums, shopping. Lots of restaurants and cafes.
Wonderful location, one minute from San Petronio. The room had everything you need--including a real, live bathtub. The room was very quiet though we had a nice view of the street. The breakfast buffet was extensive, no hot table, but lots of meats, cheeses, boiled eggs, plus fresh fruit, yogurt, variety of breads, pastries and spreads. And pot of tea with freshly boiled water. The elevator does start on the 1st floor (not the ground), but there was a bellhop to schlep our bags up from the lobby. Staff was very helpful and friendly, including offering a list of restaurants in all price ranges. There is a clock theme, which is fine, except none of the clocks work and each is stopped at a different time. Somewhat disconcerting. That is a minor point--this hotel was a great value.

Posizione impagabilePosted Dec 3, 2014
Pros: Lo stile Liberty dell'arredamento.
