Great find and beautiful property.Posted Nov 5, 2014
Upon arrival we were pleased to see a great little hotel tucked into a courtyard. The staff was warm and friendly. The room was great and ours opened onto a balcony. The breakfast was standard but fresh and well presented. Overall a wonderful little place about a ten minute walk behind Bologna Centrale.

Wonderful boutique hotel 5 mins from centre...Posted Nov 2, 2014
This is a great hotel not at all far from the hustle and bustle of wonderful Bologna. Lovely breakfast, clean rooms and helpful staff who also speak English. With a map, they point you towards the city's must- see sights and restaurants. Great value for money. Walk all over the city from Il Guercino!!

Cons: Improve room decor, including new bedspread to replace the dusty, scratchy current one.
Location: Bus into the main section of town, with historic sites and fun shopping, was conveniently located.
Nice reception and breakfast. Enjoyed the lounge areas and fitness room and appreciated the in-room coffee and tea bar. But the room had such ugly, garish wallpaper that we had to stay out as long as possible, or go to the public lounge downstairs. The room was dark with a small window opening to noisy construction project.

Good situation - a modest hotelPosted Sep 21, 2014
Well situated less than 10 minutes walk from the railway station, and about 20 minutes from the centre of town. There is a spa/fitness centre which we didn't sample. The breakfast as good with plenty of choice. There are not many public spaces for sitting, and our room was quite small, so on a lazy day, there's not much to do. However, for the price, the accommodation was perfectly adequate if you intend being out and about, and the situation is perfect for getting into town.

Pros: The staff were friendly. Good selection on breakfast menu.
Cons: An older hotel - rooms may benefit from an update, but were comfortable.
Location: Open top bus tour of Boulogne was very enjoyable.
Enjoyed an overnight stay at this hotel. Took a open top bus tour of Boulogne - really good.

Great hotel in quiet areaPosted Sep 16, 2014
Hotel is well located near railway station and with new railway work being done very handy for catching intercity trains. Room clean and comfortable. Breakfast is very good ,plenty variety and fresh, just ask for your coffee to be made fresh, if not into American weak coffee. Reception staff always on hand to answer questions .

One night stay.Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Individual style
Location: 7 minutes walk from the main railway station.
Stayed one nigh after flying in late. Welcomed, and the room was great, individual and quirky in decoration. Breakfast good, with a room to safely store our baggage during the day. A real bargain.
