Clean and comfortable hotel in the outskirts of town. Fortunately the 25 bus is nearby and dependable. Courteous staff and ample breakfast contribute to a positive experience.

I chose Hotel Imperial because of the close proximity to the fair. It's just 4 km away roughly and an easy drive or taxi ride. The people are very friendly and the entire hotel was very clean and safe. The only negative was the bed being a bit too stiff for me. All in all it was a good value considering Fiera.

Efficient One-Night Stay
This was a one-night stay for three people in a tiny room. We dropped off one person at the airport early the next morning. There was a gym, and the breakfast was plentiful and fresh. There were walking and bike paths outside of the hotel although the area is not scenic. Staff was friendly and helpful. Candy platter at the front desk which is a nice touch. Lobby had a TV and there are a number of areas to linger and wait. Outside chairs and tables of the hotel were sparse. This area could be improved. We liked the bathroom products provided.

Very Rude Receptionist
Overall, Hotel Imperial is a very nice hotel, both the rooms and breakfast were good. Although, it was a comfortable stay, the receptionist Ioli was very rude. We were given a room that smelled of smoke. However, we requested a smoke-free room when we reserved a room. She refused to change the room. She ended up giving a new room after giving us a hard time. She was also caught talking about bad about us with her other co-workers in Italian. Since, we are spanish we understood because of the similarity in language.

Nice hotel in Bologna
Kind staff, clean hotel. You have to take a bus from Central Station to the hotel. A little weakness to me was the location. Most of the buses in Bologna pass by Central Station. However, this hotel being distanced from the Central Station, you have to transfer to another bus if you want to visit another side of the town rather than having a one time shot.

The Hotel Imperial does what it says on the tin!Bit further out approx 15 Soros by taxi to city centre but buses run regularly from outside hotel 1.5 euros.Just make sure you have correct change for bus driver does not issue tickets or go to Tabacceri to get ticket.If we had known this would have saved us a fine! Reception staff very helpful. Breakfast ok but no evening meal available and d I didn't see bar open in evening or many other guests! Would stay here again.

Nice hotel with wonderful staff
- Wonderful staff, good level of English, tried to help at all times - Quiet, safe and secluded location with an excellent pizzeria nearby (Rococo) - No.25 bus directly outside - 15 min ride into centre for $1.50 - Very clean room with good amenities, could be a little better but good quality overall - Free breakfast 7-10am, lovely food with a brilliant range for vegans and gluten free eaters - Sound-proof rooms so not noisy at all - Lighting system a little strange - have to keep key card in wall at all times to ensure lighting

Two nights stay in quiet surroundings. Comfortable beds. Unfortunately, no English TV. Good internet and very helpful staff. Very complete breakfast with fruit, eggs, meat, breads, baked goods, yoghurts, coffee tea and hot chocolate. Very modern decor.

Booked a standard room but they gave me the economy room at the beginning. Good thing is the staff was helpful in switching my room, but the wifi reception in that room was a disaster, couldn't receive any signal at all. However the bed was quite comfy and breakfast was nice. Didn't really like the location coz it would nearly take up an hour everyday to go in and out the city center, even though the bus stop is just right outside the hotel. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.

Incredible value for money
Great location as a base to tour the North of Italy and easy bus service into Bologna. Very helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast with freshly made cakes and pastries. At the price charged unbeatable!

Old but cool hotel
Very retro hotel but all in fine working order .Staff excellent and helpful. Wonderful breakfast in a room with panoramic views of the little city. Away from hustle and bustle of Florence but close to visit some really cool other sites like Siena and Voltera. It is difficult to find nearby parking so be prepared to work around that.

Nice hotel for the price
I liked the hotel because the installations were clean and in good condition. Nothing special with the room but it was perfect for my wife and me after a long day visiting the city. The breakfast is included and very decent options to eat. I enjoyed drinking different type of coffees with the machine available. The only inconvenience is that it's around 30 minutes away from the city but there is a bus stop right outside the hotel that take you to the city. Also if you are hungry at night not many choices to buy food but there are few pizza places that can deliver to the hotel. This hotel is good for its price.

I must say,I was very pleased with this hotel.The staff is really friendly and helpful,the food is great and very tasty. I must say everything was amazing.The rooms are very clean and tidy,the cleaners are doing great job:) I would recommend this hotel to anyone who likes Italian cuisine and loves drinking Italian coffee. I must say,there is a tiny gym there and it's very nice. The food is soooo delicious:)

it is a quiet environment. The surrounding is a lot of green. To the exhibition hall, it is around 10-15 mins drive, it is quite close. Services are good. There is nothing around the neighborhood. after working in the exhibition hall, this is an excellent place for me to relax and see the green. But if you are looking for nightlife or shopping, this is not convenient.
