Excellent!
We can highly recommend the Residenza Ariosto. The apartment was comfortable and spacious and had everything we needed, (including a washing machine and detergent.) It is well located - walking distance tips the train station, major tourist sites and is surrounded by restaurants and cafes. We cannot praise the staff at Studio Vita (the agency that manages the appartments) enough: check-in was very efficient; the staff were friendly and welcoming and gave us plenty of information about what to see and where to eat. A little problem with the toilet flush was quickly repaired. We would definitely stay at Residenza Ariosto again.

Excellent apartment in a great location
The apartment is exactly as advertised. It is in a quiet street that is close to the centre of the old town, and convenient to some excellent restaurants, enotecas, great shopping and interesting sight seeing. Highly recommended. Also recommend a visit to the Poggi Museum in the University of Bologna - a short stroll away.

perfect stay
It was a lovely stay. Evetything was perfect. Staff was super friendly. It was very clean and location was also superb. The only thing was the bed was not a double bed, instead two single beds side by side, which was a little uncomfortable. I really recommend the facility to keep an extra double mattress to make your couple guests happier.

Central gem
Fantastic location, quiet but close to the centre. Well equipped with tea, coffee etc and even wash powder if you want to use the washing machine. Check In was very easy as the company office is literally across the street.

The property is really close to the city centre and the train station. There was cooking facilities but the food in Bologna is amazing. The apartment is spacious with good range of cooking equipment.

A pleasant stay.
It was clean and extremely comfortable. Check in & our process was swift and helpful. We were grateful that our bags were able to be stored. The area felt safe and it was close to everything we wanted to see. However, we didn’t like how the kitchen and sleeping space were in the same room. The bathroom was clean and had great utilities like a washing machine. The surrounding area was quiet which meant we had great nights sleep.

4 days in Bologna- 4 Stars!
Im very pleased to rate this apt. very high for the following reasons: The apt was very, very clean. Perfect location as it’s within walking distance to everything! The staff that was just across the street is stellar! All the air conditioning systems work great! If you want extra security, this is the place for you...your apt. is behind 2 locked doors. The last door is your apt. which is a very heavy duty triple locking vault-like door (I’m retired from the fire service...this door is a beast when locked. Not breaking into this apt. Anytime soon)! The kitchen is spacious and fully appointed. The rooms are large with plenty of hangers and closet space to hang your goods. Plenty of room for a father and my two adult boys. This easily will accommodate 4. The price was perfect!! Unfortunately I did not take photos, but the photos online match the property. Compared to other properties that I have stayed at in Europe while traveling, this apt. Is 4 Star property. I would definitely stay there again! Thor

Lovely large studio flat in the heart of Bologna old town. It had everything you would need for self catering. Despite being a studio in was a lovely large room with lots of space - it was much larger than the average hotel room. There was excellent email communication so that it was ready for us even hen we arrived a bit early. We were given good advise on places to go and they offered to help book places / taxis. It’s only 15 mins from the station and the about 5/10 mins walk to Piazza Miaggore. A perfect place to stay. The flats are all part of a complex which charges a front door with their other properties but you hardly ever see or hear your neighbours. I would definitely go back. It is the best way to get to see the beautiful city of Bologna.

We were charged a late arrival fee (9.30pm), cleaning fee, and taxes, upon arrival. An additional 40 euros, and this despite Hotels.com stating all fees and taxes paid.

As for the late check-in, you could have found the information in the email about the fee. Excellent apartment in central Bologna
Spacious apartment in excellent central location. Loved having a full kitchen and washing machine. Apartment staff was available at office across street from 10-19:00 each day and couldn't have been more helpful with questions, luggage storage, etc. Groceries, wine, gelato and many restaurants available in a 5-minute walk, train station less than 15-minute walk. Highly recommend.

Well cared for, large accommodation, high ceilings, light and airy with air con and heating. Smart modern bathroom and kitchen, comfortable seating, microwave, cooker, oven & hob, washing machine and dishwasher - linens and towels good quality plentiful and all supplied. There was a lift but was not big enough for two people and luggage, we used it with our cases one at a time, but saved us carrying cases up stairs. An extra light on the main stairs would also have been useful.

This is by far the worst experience that I have ever had with an Expedia property. This picture bears no relationship to the apartment we were given. Ours was dirty, the furniture was thrift store quality at best. And the smell in the apartment was unbearable. They place that looks like that but we didn't see it. The biggest disappointment was that I notified Expedia immediately and they never responded. Do yourself a favor and do not book this place!

All the review on Expedia say that our guest are satisfied with our service and with our apartment. We think that your review is caused by our reject to give you a refund. Proof of our thought, It's that the 17 of October you've sent us an e-mail which you asked a refund with, intimidating us of doing a bad review if we had refused the refund, and this is what you've done. Spacious clean living in Cinque Terre with a view
Beautiful apartment with loads of space and air con - absolutely stunning view, and everything is clean and provided. It’s on the 3rd floor with no lift, but Cinque Terre is all about stairs ;) The WiFi is good, bed is comfortable and shower pressure is good. Plenty of privacy and not noisy really (given there are normal families living in the building too). Don’t forget there are external shutters to use for blocking out nighttime lights! Hosts communication was great - met us at the train station and a super easy walk 10 mins to the flat (and I’m 7 months pregnant writing this!). Recommended :)

Great apartment with kitchen (with gas stove) so we could cook our own food, very close to all the attractions while being on a quiet street, two grocery stores within a block, quiet balcony, also close to the university.

We totally felt like we lucked out with this apartment. The staff were so organized with coordinating our arrival in advance, the apartment was very clean and functional, and spacious! It had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. The location was perfect - close to a number of great restaurants and half a block away from the main shopping area. We really enjoyed our stay here!

We were at the heart of places to go. There was building work within the building so some noice during daytime but we were out most of the day so didn’t affect us. I would recommend staying here.

What a find!
Loved this one bedroom apartment. The lay out was great. Bedroom and bath separated by kitchen/living area so one could shower while other slept in. Alrhough noisy outside from a restaurant, thebedroom was very quiet if windows were closed. Washing machine and washer included. The office was across the street with an emergency number to call when office was closed. We had to use it when our lock got stuck and someone was there within 10 minutes. Near everything . Avout four blocks north of Piazza Maggiorel. 10 minute walk to bus and train stations. Lots of restaurants nearby and two small grocery stores to get what you needed to cook. We generally only ate breakfast at home because there were so many wonderful places to eat for the other meals. Two burner cooktop, full size frig. Hair dryer. Towels and sheets provided once per week. Large tooms by European standards. Lots of hot water in shower. Would definitely stay there again

It was nice to have a bigger space while in Bologna. However, there are some flights of stairs to navigate, so it might not be suitable if you require step free access. Overall, a good stay.

Break in Bologna
Landing at Bologna airport early Saturday evening, stayed until Thursday, five nights before heading to Florence. Over the course of two days visited Ferrari Museums via train in Moderna and San Marino via Rimini. Both good trips, train inexpensive and efficient. Spent remaining days exploring Bologna. Lively, energetic city with loads of character; a lot of younger people. Real buzz on the streets despite the rain-covered porticoes ensured we remained dry. Fabulous eating in cafes/restaurants and in the apartment. So much wonderful food. All good experiences from cheap osteria serving wine for 4.50 euros and homemade tagliatelle to eating vegan food in the market to spending 100euros in posher establishments serving 'to die for' gnocchi in tomato and butter sauce. Also indulged in apperativo-snacks served when buying a drink in the evening. Climbed to Sanctuary of the Madonna di San Luca at top of hill remaining under porticoes well worth the effort for the dramatic views; Piazza Maggiore, Neptunes Fountain and two leaning towers busy with tourists but interesting; Italian clothes shopping very worthwhile. Hopefully the walking has kept off the pounds!
