“very nice hotel and great rate”

A very nice settign for the hotel, even though it's next to a main road. The property is surrounded by a fence with a private driveway and parking. The property has many trees and shrubs, making it a nice area to sit outside. The rooms are modern and comfortable. I would stay here again.

“Simply Excelent!!! Everything.”

We arrived in Bologna the 28th of July and spent 3 days. Check-in was quick and easy, the room was confortable and very clean. There is also free internet wireless and free parking. Breakfast is included in the price, and the price is ok. Location of the hotel is also good, 3 miles from the centre - where car is not allowed. People can, anyway, park the car and take a beautiful walking trough the old centre which is recomended.

“Nice, Cozy Hotel”

Very quaint hotel, nice breakfast, clean bathrooms. It was nice being a little out of town and away from the crazy traffic and parking.

This was a very nice hotel just outside the city. The room was nicely furnished and comfortable. The staff was friendly and spoke good english. They were happy to give us maps and directions. The breakfast was filling and yummy. This was a great hotel, I highly recommend it.

The Savioa Country Hotel provided excellent value for money and the staff were particularly courteous and helpful at all times. The Hotel's position also made travelling to and from the Historic Centre very quick and convenient. The restaurant provided good quality food and wines - no more than you'd expect from the culinary capital of Italy. Overall Bologna and this particular hotel are well worth a visit.

“Best value in Bologna!”

We agonized about which hotel to stay in for our one-night trip to Bologna. We chose this one because of other positive user reviews, and we were not disappointed! It's truly a 4-star hotel at 2-3 star rates! Nice grounds, very nice room, and good friendly service. And the buffet breakfast has to be the best I've ever experienced anywhere! Fresh meats, cheeses, fruits, and breads; a unique orange-juicing machine had us going back for numerous cups of fresh juice; and an incredible assortment of cakes and pastries! You won't need lunch after eating here! Also, the restaurant on the hotel grounds prepared an excellent dinner with good service. As for location, the hotel is a couple of kilometers from the central historic district, but it's a quick and easy busride, and better than trying to negotiate the city streets in a car. Our only minor complaint is with the uncomfortable toilet seat, which seems to be the standard across norther Italy. But otherwise a first-rate experience.

“Would definitely return!”

The Savoia Country House is just on the outskirts of Bologna, a mere 1-10 minute taxi or bus ride from the center of the city. It has all the amenities plus free breakfast buffet, and a great restaurant with reasonable prices. I can't wait to return!
