Close to Bologna

Posted Sep 11, 2013
Pros: Pleasant surroundings.
Cons: Towel charge seemed petty. Maybe a deposit would be better
Location: Lamborghini museum
The hotel has a sister hotel just over the road. This one is set around trees and shrubs etc. Its nice but feels strange and a little bit like a poor relation to the other one. You can use the pool across the way but have to pay 2 euros each for the towels or take your own however it is lovely. We booked a deluxe room, nice but a bit noisy we asked for another room and were shown a standard one, which has lovely so probably didn't need to upgrade. We ate at the restaurant by the car park which is not part of the hotel as again the restaurant is at the sister hotel. Actually we had a lovely meal in a great atmosphere and lots of add ons in between courses which were complimentary so good decision. Stayed here for one night as part of a trip around the area. Didn't like Bologna but chose the hotel as wasn't too far from the Lamborghini Museum in Modena.

Fantastic staff, food and rooms!

Posted Aug 13, 2013
Pros: The friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness
Cons: Loved everything about it
Location: The location is ideal for visiting the centre of Bologna- 10 minute drive and next to the major motorway junctions.
We were so surprised at the high standard of this hotel for such a reasonable price. It has a beautiful setting. The staff are very attentive and friendly. The rooms are well decorated and modern. The standards of cleanliness are very high. The food and service at the Garganelli restaurant are second to none. Had a fabulous stay there.

Gorgeous Hotel Outside Bologna

This was the ultimate in hotel living in a beautiful country setting. The staff was great and our room was huge. The food at the Savoia Regency next door was fabulous. Our favorite place to stay in all of Italy!

Comfortable stay for a short stay in Bologna. A little out of the way, but does the job if you're here on business which I was.

Nice Hotel,shame about the traffic!

Lovely, comfortable friendly hotel, unfortunately very close to the main road which joins the Autostrada. Although 2 miles from the centre it is very good for access.

Great hotel in the northern part of the city.

Posted Apr 5, 2013
Pros: Comfortably sized rooms and no-hassle wifi.
Convenient, quiet hotel in the Italian idiom. Rooms are situated in one of three villas with an adjacent restaurant which is both reasonable and superb. Free wifi but I was only able to use it when they moved me closer to the router; then it worked flawlessly. The staff is friendly and helpful in a business like way. The hotel is convenient to the convention area and a short bus or cab ride to the city center, which is open to cars after 8PM. I was a lovely stay and the put on a good breakfast as well. The hotel is right off the 'tangenziale' which is a sort of service highway tha runs parallel to the autostrada but you don't really hear any noise. There is also ample safe, private parking if you take a car.

Great stopover - we'll use it again

Pros: Country house feel i.e. not modern
Location: Superb
Lovely hotel, just off the tangenziale (not the motorway!). The blurb is not quite accurate regarding not having an evening restaurant because there is a restaurant with an affiliated hotel less than 100m from the hotel - with complimentary champagne!
