Terrific short term hotel

This hotel was very clean and conveniently located. The staff is also very helpful. It's a bit pricy for the size and the showers are very tiny, but overall we were very satisfied.

Where else would you stay to visit Beethoven House

Posted Mar 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very nice hotel which makes the most of its limited footprint. Our 5th floor room was compact but comfortable. Good German breakfast buffet. Located steps from the Beethoven House (Beethovens Geburtshaus), a few blocks from Bonn's main train station (Hauptbahnhof or Hbf), within a virtually car-free cobblestoned pedestrian neighbourhood full of good shopping, caf├ęs and other historical sites.

Outstanding value.

Convenient location at the heart of the city within easy walking distance of the train station and across the street from Beethoven's birthplace. Plan on two hours at this cultural landmark. Staff was very helpful. Room was comfortable and the breakfast was satisfying. Price was very reasonable.

Thumbs up for Beethoven

Very central location in Bonn, easy to walk everywhere. The only downside is that there was no wifi. Had to pay for Internet use. Seems to be a German issue not having access to wifi.

Tight fit but worth it

Posted Aug 27, 2012 on Hotels.com
We had a double room. Which is twice the size of a single. The room was the largest on the floor, but still kinda smallish There is a small elevator that will carry 2 medium size people with medium size bags and nothing else. No climate control. The windows do open, try and get a street view, the back alley view is nothing special. The in-room internet costs euros, but if your staying in Germany more than one night, even different locals, the internet purchase can go with you. The hotel allows the guests to use their i-pad, free of charge, in the breakfast room, about an hour at a time. Breakfast was complimentary and a typical German breakfast: cold meats, cheeses, breads, juice, coffee, tea, cold cereal and milk, tomato and cucumber. The Beethoven Museum is about 200 feet from the hotel. Town square is one block with lots of dining options and shopping galore. 2 blocks from Rhein River.

Nice hotel, good location

Posted Oct 9, 2011
The hotel is well located in the centre of Bonn, just down the street from the Beethovenhaus. The room was basic, but clean and had everything I needed. The staff were very friendly and able to answer any questions I had. Very good for the price!
