Horrible service I have ever seen
Probably a toxic working environment for the employees as the bartender Aidin ruined our stay in the hotel with his rudeness. He is literally bullying hotel guests. We had 2 beers at the lobby bar and forgot to pay 11.EUR bill and headed out for the dinner but he stopped us at the doorstep to for the payment and I really don’t remember how many times I apologised but he was like “you should learn not to leave your table before paying.. you shouldn’t be served until you pay i.. etc etc” and I thought he was joking. We returned back to the hotel after dinner and sat in the lobby to talk with my clients and asked more drinks and he came to the table and he was still talking.. clearly said “you shouldn’t leave your table and you will learn to stay until you pay your bill” in front of my clients and everyone else in the bar.. ı said “please add our drinks to the bill and I will pay at once” but he rejected and said “no you will pay now, not later” and everytime he served us he forced me to pay upfront unlikely the other guests. Never seen such a rude person in my life and he made my clients left the hotel! Unbelievable

Dear sir,thank you very much for your comment.I totally understand your concern and I can only apologize for this unpleasant experience that you’ve maid during your stay at our hotel.I talked to everyone who has been involved and understood, that you complaint already at the hotel. Our resident manager tried to explain to you the special circumstances with regard to the behaviour of our employee.He was completely overwhelmed with the situation and should of course have contacted his supervisor who was present on that evening too. Please be sure that we will discuss this in detail during a special meeting which has been scheduled for this week.Thank you very much for bringing this to my attention. I will personally take care of it.For now please accept my sincere apology and I hope that you will probably visit us again some time. If you like service, avoid.
The hotel is nice and clean but that’s where the good parts end. I traveled in a group of friends all having our own room. They all had fridges with complimentary drinks and coffee machines. Me and two others had neither. We all paid the same so it’s not a price issue. I was told there was nothing that could be done. Then the staff, not helpful at all. I was quite shocked. I waited 20 minutes to buy a bottle of coke from the “ market place “ ( a vending machine that only reception can open ) they ignored me whilst typing and not actually dealing with a customer. Charged me 3.20 then literally asked a member of staff to open the bar as a new guest fancied a drink. Surly instead of making me wait 20 mins for my drink you could have just done the same and I would have ordered from the bar. We didn’t actually get a single evening meal as the restaurant is closed by 9pm and you must be there from 7:30 ( our plans made this impossible) but when we asked if we could book for tomorrow they said no we have to do it on the day which made no sense. I am not happy at all and will most likely book elsewhere in the future. For context we are all in our 40s and came here catch up with old friends from school. We are not in our twenties and out boozing. Breakfast was good. For what we paid ( quite a lot ) I have had better stays in Premier inn. I don’t recommend this hotel at all.

Recommended
Hotel staff were very friendly, they were speaking fluent English and helped me to amend my reservation. I was offered free beverage while waiting for the ammendment. The room was sparkling clean, bathroom was emmaculate. Clean sheets and very comfortable bed. The price was very reasonable. There was zero noise through the night. Check out time is 12 noon and guests are not hurrried. The hotel is located very close to the main roads.

A disappointing stay after a 12 hour drive
I didn’t expect to have to pay for parking on the grounds. There was lots of space so why charge? There was no restaurant as flood workers had priority, which I understand. However, we were not informed and we chose this hotel as it had a restaurant.

One only issue very bad service and bad attitude from a waitress on last night shift, the blond hair one. She must be trained to serve clients and leave personal problems at home.

Very good hotel for a nice price
We were just there for 1 night during a stop on a longer travel but it was the best price/quality we encountered. Don't expect an extraordinary luxurious stay but very friendly and helpful staff in a pleasant environment.

Nurburgring weekend stay
Stayed here for two nights on a weekend when we went to the Nurburgring for the WEC. Was a pleasent hotel, close to the motorway but quiet so perfect for us. No minibar which could have been useful. Hotel offered complimentary coffee/tea in the morning. There is an outside pool as well. Free and big parking

Group of 6 stayed here. Spacious clean rooms with television and good showers. Local area is lovely and it's also not too far from the Nurburgring. Plenty of parking available. Would definitely stay again

Great Hotel at a Good Price
Really nice hotel. Lots of free parking and excellent wifi. Clean, up to date room and bathroom. Great breakfast. Small town of Duisdorf is 5 minutes drive or 15 minute walk for great restaurants.

Bargain in Bonn
Not near the centre of town, but good transport links. Clean business hotel. Walking distance to the Telekom Dome where the hotel also offers a discount on gym membership for EUR 15 per day. Supermarkets, Burger King and local drinking hole nearby, all else requires car / bus / taxi journey.

Seriously great service and very friendly staff. Food was still available at half ten in the evening together with a good selection of wines. My room was quiet from outside noise despite the nearby motorway but one could hear the neighbouring rooms. Also the bathroom could do with an update.

Lovely Hotel. Pity pool was so small. Great Food.
Really enjoyed our stay at the Mercure and Germany as a whole. The food at the Hotel was excellent, we experienced all of the facilities, breakfast, Restaurant and Bar with all proving exceptional. We went to Linz, Cologne, Bonn and enjoyed every minute in all these cities, impressed with the social welcome from all the shops we visited. Slightly unnerved by the requests from beggars for money (5 times in Bonn in 2 hours). On the whole we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Germany. One strange thing - the Koln-Dusseldorfer River Boat trip doesn't go to Dusseldorf ? Very strange/funny.

Good everyday hotel for the overnight traveler
It's clean with a little wear around the edges. Everything works - like many hotels in Europe could use coffee facilities in the room. Excellent value for the money, friendly and competent staff, but no character and it's really for an overnight (or maybe two nights) stay, not a vacation. Since that's what I wanted, I was quite happy at the price and would do so again.

Pretty good stay
Nothing close by but it's only 25 mins drive to Cologne. Area is quite and the hotel is clean. Nothing to clean about except the shower is not so strong. Price is good hence will definitely stay again.

Great value for price!
We were super happy with this choice. The location is a bit outside of Bonn, and there isn't a lot in the immediate area, but the hotel service and quality were great!
