Good location for travelers

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: The location and the accommodations.
Cons: The food in the restaurant was just average.
Hotels was nice (and we were located a distance from the casino), nice view from the hotels restaurant, but the food was mediocre. However, we were traveling to Glacier National Park and the location (about three hours from out next destination) fit in very well with our traveling plans. If I were to travel the same route again, I would still stay at the Kootenai again.

Nice place.

Too close to the rail line. Whistle/horn starts at about 4:00 am and continues until 7:00 am.

Nice Hotel near the Casino!

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness and restaurant were great!
Location: Loved the tunnel walk over to the Visitor Center and main street. The river view from the restaurant was great. Loved watching the boats.
Overall stay was great! Loved the shower! Bed was very comfy! Pillows were terrible. But are they ever good in a hotel? Location in the town was great! Great few beside the river.

Overall great hotel

This hotel has a great location and you can walk anywhere you need to go. The room was fantastic and the casino was very fun. I was a little disappointed because the front office staff would not give me my AAA discount and they had many unexpected fees. I ended up paying way more than expected.

Great hotel, awesome view!

Very nice place, excellent view of the Kootenai River (you're on the south bank of it), hot tub/sauna/pool is inside a glass walled building with a retractable roof. The restaurant overlooks the river and you have an awesome view! From my room, 148, I could watch the river flow.

Nice place to stay

Posted May 13, 2014
Pros: Easy to find, nice friendly staff, room was clean. IT snowed 5 inches while I was there and the underground parking was great!
Cons: Room had two full or queen beds which made the room crowded. One king would fit better and leave room to move around. Very tight.....
Location: Nice town. Plenty to do and places to eat. Short drive to attractions.
Room had everything...but a so much it was a little tight.
