“Great view!”

Our room was had a deck with a great view off of the front. Nice comfortable beds, clean and comfortable room. Two glider rocking chairs were nice for rocking the kids before bed. Extremely courteous owner. He even went ahead of us and opened the room and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. Can't remember ever having that happen before! He had lots of helpful information & suggestions for places to visit and eat at in the area. My husband kept saying he was such a nice old guy!

“Great view, good value.”

We enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. I loved the rocking chairs and the view was pretty. The only complaints I would have is that the beds are a little on the firm side, and the people in the room above us sounded like a herd of elephants. Overall I would stay there again, but I would make sure to get a room on the top story.

“Not impressed”

The people that do work at this hotel, for example the older gentleman was extremely nice and helpful. The younger guy as well did accomodate us well when we arrived since there were no lights that night (the lights did come on later, did not mean to scare you) The cleaning lady was certainly the Biggest Idiot, while I was asleep in the morning she was trying desperately to come in, even though I had put in the sign do not disturb AT THE DOOR! Her first visit was at 8:45 a.m. in the morning even though the Checkout wasn't until 11:00 a.m., then she was trying to come again at 9:30 a.m., she was an extreme hurry to clean the room(Like she had something else to do after at the top of the mountain), even though I was still there and trying to sleep. Of course I had locked the door from the inside and she COULD NOT COME IN! he he he So, if you are waking up early, you should not run into the cleaning lady problem, who lied to me that the checkout was 10:00 a.m., when it clearly said in the back of the door of the hotel room that is was at 11:00 a.m. (see, I like to sleep in). So, I did not really care as I was just sleeping there, went to ski anyway. Just my honest 2 cents if you wanted to know, also if you have people on top of you that walk and make noise, since it is all wood, will make it very uneasy to fall asleep. The hotel was clean and cute, there was snow when I arrived so I could not take my van up the hill, 4WD is certainly great during the winter time.

“Not Impressed”

The people are friendly and nice. The bed was comfortable and clean. However, the place is outdated and in need of repairs. Some minor cleanliness issues, the tub needed to be cleaned out, etc. The location is not within an easy or safe walk of anywhere, it’s an easy drive to shopping areas, but parking around the downtown area is a problem.
