“needs updating”

No frills hotel. Rooms and carpets need updating. Corrridor lighting is poor. Pull out mattresses were old , worn out and badly stained. Just could not sleep on them after seeing the mattress. Pillows need to be regular size, and not cushion size. Breakfast was good. Location of the hotel is good with convenience to food and shopping.

Comfort Inn, basically what I expected. Hard bed, on busy highway, etc.

“Hotel Needs Maintenance”

While it was clean and comfortable, our room had a defective hair dryer and a marginal WiFfi Internet connection that was useless. The Internet problem was reported to the hotel, but no action was taken. The hotel rate was twice the rate for the same room in the same brand in other cities we have visited, so we expected better accomodations than we received. Expedia needs to do better.

“Great place in Boone”

I'm not "review guy"- I don't make a habit of it, but in this case I wanted to offer some words. My wife and 5 year old son found ourselves bored the day before the 4th- 3 hours away from Boone in a hot Triangle area- we decided to make a last second run to the mountains. When it comes to accommodations- I'd rather spend a little more and be assured of getting a decent place than hoping for the best- thus I generally rely on reviews to make a choice. I saw good things about Comfort Suites Boone and made the jump. The staff at the front desk was very nice and welcoming- the lobby and surrounding area was neat and inviting. The room was really very nice- extremely clean and looks to have been upgraded in the last few years. Our room had a mini frig, sink and microwave area which was perfect for putting together sandwiches and lite fare. The continental breakfast was a good morning start. The hallways were stuffy- but the room was very comfortable. I would definitely go back and likely will in the fall!

“Close to everything”

This was my second stay at the Boone Comfort Suites. The hotel is extremely clean and very comfortable. Although we arrived well before check in time, the staff allowed us to use the facilities to change for a reunion lunch. They offer a continental breakfast bar which also includes bacon, eggs, and freshly made waffles. The pool is not large, but it is nice and is also heated. The game room is a bit noisy but was a nice treat for older kids and teens who were staying at the hotel.

The staff was wonderful, the hotel was great, I would highly recommend to ANYONE.

“Our trip to Boone”

The hotel was lovely, nice lobby, spectacular pool. I just wish they had real suites. We were with our 7 year old grandson and it would have been nice to be able to put him to bed in a room and still allow us to stay up and watch tv. The hotel is located on a very, very busy road. It makes it extremely hard to get out to go any where. But I would stay there again. The personnel were very friendly and considerate. The hotel also had a game room so the 7 year old had some thing to do on rainy days.

“Open house stay”

The hotel is in need of refurbishing. It is old and worn. Based on the price we paid I expected better.
