Our room was quite dirty. There was mold and water damage in bathroom as well as gnats and ants in the bathroom and room. The hotel is quite dated. We won’t be staying here the next time we’re in Boone.

Bed had hair and dirt when we crawled in… after waiting 20 minutes at 11pm to talk to someone at the front desk, we were given a different room. Staff were really nice and friendly, just not an ideal situation.

Overall the hotel was good…our carpet in our room needed to be cleaned but it was fine. Bathroom was clean. Breakfast was ok..not many options but coffee was good! Staff was overall helpful. Would stay again.

Montana greeted us at check in and was very accomadating. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. Jamie was kind and helpful. The whole staff was very nice and friendly. Having a small kitchen in the room was wonderful. We were able to heat up our lunch leftovers for dinner. The room is large and clean and the hotel is super quiet. There was a nice fire burning in the lobby and when it snowed there were ice scrapers on the front dest to borrow to clean off your car. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

We had a weekend stay for our anniversary in room 300. It was great! Clean and everything went well. At one point the lady downstairs said we were not supposed to be in that room. Pretty sure someone walked in our room around 7:30am one morning waking us up. It did make me feel like we had loss of privacy but I believe it was a mistake.

Horrible hotel… Don’t stay here
This hotel was one of the dirtiest I have ever stayed in. There was dust and mold all over the walls and carpet. There was a hole in the bathroom door. The shower was so dirty, and the shower curtain was full of mildew. The entire hotel smelled like mold, and mildew. Customer service at check-in was very unfriendly. The free coffee was always empty. There were only two towels in the bathroom. There were no blankets on the beds.

booked two rooms at well over area rates. Upon check in, the rooms were filthy. Debris on the bed, hairs on the pillow, water and bathrooms smelled of mildew and bleach. Hot water took forever, toilet was leaking. We turned around and went directly back to the desk and let MONTANA the night auditor know we were not staying, it was unacceptable. He told us he had had several complaints about the state of the housekeeping and that he would contact the manager and get us a full refund. Next day, I called Julie, the manager and she refused to issue a refund, argued that the rooms were not fine stating, "I don't run a filthy hotel" then accused me of cursing at her and hung up on me. this happed 4 times, I kept calling back and she would yell and hang up on me. Horrible experience, also complained to choice hotels/Radison. I am disputing the charges to my Credit card.

It's unfortunate that our recollections of the situation differ significantly.Upon Montana's report of your concerns, I personally reviewed the matter and promptly addressed it by issuing a refund for all nights beyond the first, along with waiving cancellation fees. However, upon a thorough inspection with our head housekeeper the following day, we found no evidence supporting the reported issues with the room.During our attempt to explain the situation regarding the refund, your repeated calls escalated to verbal aggression. As a policy, we do not condone or tolerate any form of verbal abuse toward our staff. Your behavior, including the use of inappropriate language during multiple calls, was unacceptable and concerning.Regrettably, due to this unacceptable behavior, we are unable to accommodate your future stays at our establishment. We hold a commitment to a respectful and comfortable environment for all our guests and staff.For the consideration and well-being of our team and other guests, we kindly suggest seeking alternative accommodations during your next visit to Boone. Please note that this behavior has been reported to Choice Hotels and Expedia for their awareness and appropriate handling going forward.Thank you for your understanding.

The room had broken tile on the floor that was coming up, rubber strips connecting the carpet / tile that came up every time you walked on them and the overflow cover for the tub came off if you bumped it. The worst was the when our door broke. We went to management, and they gave new keys multiple times then tried the master key and couldn’t get into the room. They told us maintenance didn’t work at night so we would have to wait til the next day to get into our room. Then she remembered it was a holiday and said she wasn’t sure if maintenance would be working that day and that it might be a couple of days to get in our room and get our belongings. We had to leave to go home for work and could not wait two days for our things, and in addition I had medicine I needed to access. They offered no solution so we called the police. They had to come and break into the room, finally getting us in at 12:30 am after we missed the entire New Year’s evening. If someone is dependent on prescription medication for life-threatening conditions, it could have ended badly not giving access. I am thankful the police intervened but unbelievable it had to come to that.

I like the room we stayed in, bigger space with kitchenette We’re 4 pax and space is enough for 6 people. Staff are helpful, we just have a hard time with the door.

Property was great. Nice space in the room. We come here every year for skiing. The only bummer was the pool was closed for repair. They worked withe expedia to help us check out a day early so we were thankful.
