Pros: location and staff nice. room pleasant but bathroom could use some caulking around shower
Cons: hotel is noisy. we could hear people in other rooms and in the hallway at late hours. the parking lot is small and spaces tight.
nice location and friendly staff. hotel was noisy (we could hear people in other rooms and hallway from our room late at night-woke us up. parking lot too small, many "compact" spaces but most guests seemed to drive larger vehicles.

Nice Hotel Spoiled by Traffic NoisePosted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: New and Clean
Cons: Less expensive or free breakfast selections would be nice
Location: Boone, Blowing Rock, Tweetsie, Grandfather Mountain
This property is new and very clean. We were very pleased with our room's interior. However, our room was on the front of the hotel and it was very difficult to get a good night's rest due to all of the noise from traffic. The hotel is situated extremely close to main roads and a busy intersection in Boone. If you choose to stay at this location, I'd suggest that you insist on a room on the back side of the hotel where the noise might be slightly less of an issue.

Gorgeous hotel, centrally located.Posted Jun 23, 2014
This property impresses even on the parking lot. New, super central to stores and restaurants with very friendly staff. Our double room was huge, very light and clean. We will return!

First trip to Boone, NC, but not the last! :)Posted May 20, 2014
Pros: Quiet, spacious rooms; clean, well-appointed bath.
Cons: Nothing to improve, from my perspective.
Location: Beautiful campus of Appalachian State University just minutes away; great downtown shops and eating establishments.
I was in Boone for a workshop at Appalachian State University, and decided to stay at a hotel close by. I couldn't have made a better choice. Room was quiet and comfortable, clean and cozy. The hotel staff were courteous and knowledgeable about the surrounding community, including good places to eat (Casa Rustica on night one: good veal parmigiana, great service) and the hotel Bistro the next night: great spinach salad with chicken. I will definitely return to Boone--this time with my wife--for another enjoyable stay at the Courtyard. Thanks!
